Chapter 1591 — Chapter 1591 Endless Beast Den(2)

After arriving at the Endless Beast Den, Yuan silently observed the scenery from the sky. Despite the presence of hundreds of people, most wore similar robes, indicating they belonged to the same sect. The rest exuded a confident and arrogant aura, suggesting they hailed from influential backgrounds.

Most of these people were between the Spirit Lord and Spirit King, with only a few in the Spirit Emperor realm.

There was a single Spirit Sovereign at the scene, but he was not training and appeared to be overseeing the disciples to ensure their safety.

The Spirit Sovereign cultivator turned to look at Yuan once he noticed their presence.

'First level Spirit Emperor at such a young age. Not to mention that tall man beside him. He must come from an influential background.' The Spirit Sovereign immediately recognized Kelan as Yuan's bodyguard due to his unfathomable aura, even though his cultivation was restricted to the peak of Spirit Enlightenment.

"The strongest beast here is only at the peak of Spirit King. What could you possibly gain from fighting them? At your current level of strength, it wouldn't matter even if you killed a million of them." Kelan said to Yuan.

Yuan retrieved the Starry Abyss and said, "I am going to strengthen my Soul Weapon."

Of course, this wasn't his only reason for being there.

Xi Meili then spoke, "I am also going down there. This will be good training for me."

She was bored of training alone inside a confined space, and there are some things you can only learn through real experience.

"How long do you plan on staying here?" Kelan asked.

"Who knows? Until I am satisfied, I guess."

Yuan and Xi Meili descended to the ground and started their hunting the next moment. As for Kelan, he decided to take a look around the Fourth Heaven.

His Divine Sense was powerful enough to cover the entire Fourth Heaven, so he could watch over Yuan no matter where he was. The only reason he decided to follow Yuan around was to chat, but now, with Yuan busy training, he decided to do some exploring. With that said, he made sure not to travel too far.

The area outside the Endless Beast Den was divided into three zones: the outer area, where there were the fewest beasts; the middle area, where the number of beasts was moderate; and the zone closest to the cave, which was filled to the brim with beasts.

Xi Meili went to the outer area to warm up. Meanwhile, Yuan headed straight to the zone closest to the cave. He landed right outside the entrance, where dozens of powerful beasts were gathered.

Yuan's sudden appearance surprised the few who were training near him. They wanted to call him out, but before they could even open their mouths, Yuan slew all of the magical beasts around him, killing each of them with a single strike.

After snapping out of their daze, they called out to him, "Hey! Who do you think you are? We have this spot reserved for 30 days!"

Without looking at them, Yuan said, "Don't worry, I'll leave enough for you guys."

"That's not the point! We paid a fortune for this spot!"

Yuan finally turned to look at them and said, "Someone owns this place? Who did you pay?"

"The Three Grand Sects has joint ownership of this place. You're not allowed to train here unless you're a disciple of their sect or pay for a spot," one of them explained.

Hearing this, Yuan looked around and asked, "Are we inside their sect right now?"

"No…"

"Then do they own this land?"

"I don't think so…"

"So they're making people pay to hunt wild magical beasts in a territory that they don't even own. What kind of nonsense is that? Well, I am not going to play by their rules. If they have an issue, they can come to deal with me themselves.

Even as they conversed, magical beasts continued to emerge from the Endless Beast Den.

Yuan returned to killing magical beasts shortly after without giving the others any more attention.

The Spirit Sovereign overseeing the place frowned when he saw this. He'd initially thought Yuan already had permission to train there, but after hearing their conversation, that was clearly not the case.

And seeing that Kelan had disappeared somewhere, the Spirit Sovereign decided to approach Yuan.

"Young man, if you do not have permission to train here, I must ask you and your friend to leave."

"And who are you?" Yuan asked without stopping his movement.

"I am Elder Hao of the Grand Spring Sect, one of the Three Grand Sects that holds authority in this area."

"So what? Are you here to ask me for money?"

Elder Hao sneered and said, "I don't like your attitude. We don't need your money. Leave before things become difficult."

"You're the one making things difficult here. I am merely hunting magical beasts in the wild. Who are you—the Grand Spring Sect—to monopolize this? If anything, I should be getting paid for this. If you don't want unauthorized people coming here, why don't you build a sect around here or something?"

Yuan continued killing magical beasts without stopping as he spoke to Elder Hao, who was already fuming in anger by now.

"You must think you're invincible because you have an influential background! Unfortunately for you, no matter how influential you are, the Three Grand Sects are still above you! I will give you three seconds to get out of here before I force you!"

Bang!

Yuan suddenly unleashed some of his aura, filling the entire Endless Beast Den with tyrannical pressure.

"You will force me? I'd like to see you try." Yuan stopped hunting to glare at Elder Hao, who subconsciously started backing away from him.

Despite Yuan's clearly lower cultivation base, Elder Hao did not dare to underestimate him, as the pressure being exuded by him was stronger than even their Sect Master.
