Chapter 1667 — Chapter 1667 Sky Splitting Dragon’s Tribulation

An entire day had passed since Yuan began his training at the Sky Splitting Dragon's Tribulation, yet he had still not managed to develop any resistance to lightning.

Lightning resistance was not only one of the most sought-after immunities but also one of the most difficult to train. Among all the immunities, the Heavenly Physique was one of the rarest, even though it had the greatest number of pursuers. Seeing that he was only progressing slightly, Yuan was tempted to enter the second level directly.

After some contemplation, Yuan moved to the border between the first and second levels. In the second level, the lightning strikes crackled with a vivid purple hue, a stark contrast to the blue lightning of the first level.

A few moments later, Yuan entered the second level with just one of his arm to test the waters.

DONG!

As if his arm had become a lightning rod, the purple lightning strikes that had been raining down aimlessly suddenly converged, targeting him with unerring precision.

"Whoa!"

Yuan cried out loud when the lightning strikes completely obliterated his arm in the blink of an eye, and he hastily took several steps back afterward.

"The difficulty between each level is no joke…" he swallowed nervously.

Unfortunately, there was nothing he could do but continue training in the first level until he gained some resistance to lightning.

"Is he bold or reckless? I have never seen anyone try to advance to the next level so quickly." The onlookers laughed after witnessing Yuan's blunder.

"He was probably influenced by his success in my playground and underestimated this place." The Baneful Dragon smiled. "Fortunately, he was smart enough to only stick an arm in there, or that would've been the end of him."

Unbeknownst to Yuan, the lightning strikes in the second level were several times more powerful than the Heavenly Tribulation Feng Yuxiang had faced and nearly lost her life to.

A few days later, Yuan finally acquired some lightning resistance.

After gaining Weak Lightning Resistance, Yuan immediately attempted to enter the second level once more.

Yet, nothing had changed; his arm was still instantly obliterated by the purple lightning.

"..."

However, not all hope was lost, as he was able to strengthen his lightning resistance this time, while his previous attempt did not give him any experience.

Thus, Yuan began cultivating with only half of his body exposed to the second level, straddling the border and experiencing the effects of both levels simultaneously. This way, he could push his limits while still maintaining some degree of safety.

"What the hell am I looking at?"

The onlookers were in disbelief after seeing Yuan's ridiculous training method that took advantage of his insane regenerative ability.

"Does that really work?"

"Only if you have his speed of recovery…"

Meanwhile, Long Yejun was laughing.

"Hahaha! What a brutal yet efficient method of training! Only someone like him could possibly do something like this!" "He did that with the poison at my playground, too…" The Baneful Dragon shook his head with a defeated smile.

Word of Yuan's training at the Sky Splitting Dragon's Tribulation spread like wildfire, drawing an increasing number of onlookers. Some were captivated by the rumors of the fourth Dragon God's Descendant, eager to glimpse his identity, while others came to witness his potential firsthand.

Two weeks later, Yuan advanced his lightning resistance to the next level.

After attaining Powerful Lightning Resistance, the purple lightning in the second level no longer obliterated his arm. Instead, it merely tickled him, while the lightning from the first level had become so weak he could no longer feel it at all.

Seeing this, Yuan confidently strolled into the second level. However, he didn't stop and continued moving until he was right before the third level.

Then, just like before, he tested the water with his arm.

BOOM!

The red lightning strikes in the third level instantly obliterated his arm, and his lightning resistance didn't increase even slightly.

Meanwhile, the purple lightning no longer increased his resistance moderately. Now, it only increased his resistance slightly.

After seeing the results, Yuan no longer bothered with the third level and focused on cultivating in the second level.

"My god, he's managed to progress from the first level to the second level in just three weeks! What monstrous speed!" The onlookers exclaimed with shock.

"Even the Unrivaled Tyrant took several years! Does this mean the fourth Dragon's God Descendant is potentially even more talented than the Unrivaled Tyrant?"

"No, this just means he's more talented than her in this one aspect. The Unrivaled Tyrant has conquered most of the training grounds in the Divine Dragon Sanctuary, after all." "Also, it is still too early to say anything. Even if his progress is faster than others, that won't mean anything if he reaches his limit too quickly." A month later.

After advancing his resistance, Yuan repeated what he had done at the first level and cultivated in the third level with only half of his body.

During this time, news of Yuan's intense training session continued to spread across the territory, drawing in a steady stream of new onlookers. Curiosity and excitement filled the air as more people gathered, eager to witness his remarkable progress.

"Elder Brother, I knew you'd be here." Long Meihui approached Long Yejun after noticing him at the training ground. "Oh, you're also here, Baneful Dragon."

"It's been a while, Princess Meihui." The Baneful Dragon greeted her with a handsome smile.

"How long have you been watching?" Long Yejun asked her.

"I just arrived," she said, turning to gaze at Yuan with a look of awe in her eyes.
