Chapter 1935 — 1935: Demon Sealing Grotto True Identity

Xi Meili stared at her cup of tea and hesitated to touch it, much less drink it.

"What are you waiting for? Go ahead and drink it," Yan Hara said right before downing her cup of tea in one motion.

Sun Ling Cai also drank the tea without any hesitation.

Xi Meili swallowed nervously before grabbing the cup. Then, with one swift and forceful movement, she drank it.

"Wow! My cultivation increased by an entire level just from drinking that small cup! And I can still feel a tremendous amount of spiritual energy in my body that is slowly being absorbed!" Xi Meili exclaimed with a shocked face.

"That amount of spiritual energy will probably be enough to raise your cultivation by an entire realm once you fully absorb it. However, due to your lack of cultivation, you'll only be able to drink one cup of tea for now. If you try to drink more, you'll absorb too much spiritual energy for your body to handle and… boom—your Dantian will explode." Yan Hara warned her.

"It's not just your cultivation that has improved. I'm sure you're starting to notice it, but all of your senses have also improved greatly. Your body should have strengthened, as well." Sun Ling Cai added.

"A single cup of tea is able to benefit me so much? It's hard to believe even though I am experiencing its effects as we speak…" Xi Meili swallowed nervously.

"Ah, thank you very much for this opportunity, seniors."

"There's no need to be so formal with us. Just call us Senior Sisters," Yan Hara said.

Meanwhile, Yuan also consumed his cup of tea. However, unlike Xi Meili, it'd barely affected him.

"The tea has a really unique flavor. I quite like it," said Yuan as he placed his cup down.

"Here's another cup." Yan Hara quickly refilled his cup.

Without hesitation, Yuan drank the whole thing again.

"Here's some more."

Yan Hara poured him another cup; her movements were so natural that it felt like she'd done this a million times.

In the blink of an eye, Yuan drank half of the tea in the pot.

"The two of you should drink too," he said to them.

"It's fine. We've been here several times. And this is mostly to celebrate your arrival in the Seventh Heaven. You can drink all of it—if you can handle it."

"If you say so…"

Yuan didn't hesitate to drink the rest of the tea. Although he liked the taste, it wasn't the only reason he was drinking it.

After his third cup, his Celestial Qi comprehension began improving with every cup. The progress was minimal, nearly imperceptible, but it was progress nonetheless—and for something as elusive as Celestial Qi, even the smallest advancement was invaluable.

As Yuan continued to drink his tea, Yan Hara revealed the situation within the Demon Sealing Clan to him, as well as her current activities.

"The drama between the Demon Sealing Clan and the Demon Sealing Grotto has only gotten worse since your last visit to the library—much worse. We're at the point where we start fighting the moment we see each other without so much as exchanging any words."

"Has Qian Chu done anything to calm the situation?" Yuan asked.

"He claims to be working on it, but we haven't seen any noticeable results even several years later. Most recently, right before I came to meet you, he disappeared somewhere after giving us the order to prioritize the Demon Worshippers."

"Disappeared?" Yuan raised an eyebrow.

"He said he had some business, but he didn't go into any details. However, I have someone following him, so we should know his activities soon."

Sun Ling Cai then spoke, "By the way, the Demon Sealing Grotto's headquarters are in the Seventh Heaven, so you'll most likely run into them while you're here."

"Are you worried that I might become a target?" Yuan asked with a smile.

"While that is a concern, I'm pretty confident you'll be able to defend yourself. After all, you managed to defeat a Demon Emperor alone."

"Don't worry, even if I encounter them, they won't know I'm with the Demon Sealing Clan, and I have no reason to reveal myself."

Yan Hara then spoke, "Honestly, I was hoping you could speak with the leader of the Demon Sealing Grotto."

"Hmm? Why?" Yuan asked.

"If we're going to fight Qian Chu, I think it would benefit us to have the Demon Sealing Grotto on our side," she admitted.

"I don't really know much, if anything at all, about them. I know that they're essentially a second Demon Sealing Clan, but that's about the extent of my knowledge on them."

Yan Hara sighed and said, "The Demon Sealing Grotto may have come after the Demon Sealing Clan and was even created after the Demonic Era, but to tell you the truth, they qualify to be the Demon Sealing Clan more than us."

"I don't get it."

"The Demon Sealing Grotto was founded by Demon Sealers who originally belonged to the Demon Sealing Clan," Yan Hara explained. "After you disappeared, the clan lost its direction. Disagreements over leadership led to internal strife, and people fought to become the next Clan Leader, causing a lot of bloodshed. This led to the creation of the Demon Sealing Grotto, a haven for those who wanted to stay true to the Divine Paragon's teachings."

Yuan couldn't help but notice the similarities between this situation and what the Celestial Overlords were currently facing—internal division and power struggles after their founder left.

Yan Hara continued, "The reason the Demon Sealing Grotto has surpassed the Demon Sealing Clan in strength is simple—they stayed true to the old traditions and rigorous training. Meanwhile, the Demon Sealing Clan… what can I even say? We've become pathetic."

She let out a quiet sigh. "Honestly, I considered joining the Demon Sealing Grotto at first. But in the end, I chose to stay with the 'original'."

Yuan pondered for a moment before responding, "I understand the situation now. In that case, we should definitely get the Demon Sealing Grotto to be on our side."
