Chapter 2025 — True Sword Body

After attaining True Enhanced Sword Aura, Yuan’s combat prowess surged to a new level. Tian Xin’s perfected Enhanced Sword Aura was no longer a threat, and each clash ended the same, with Yuan’s aura shattering Tian Xin’s like a rock smashing through glass.

Just a few hours after acquiring True Enhanced Sword Aura, Yuan defeated Tian Xin, putting an end to their year-long battle.

Tian Xin sat on the ground with half of his body severed, but since he was just an illusion, there was no blood, and he could still talk.

"Not bad," muttered Tian Xin.

"However, this is just the beginning. Not only do you still have to learn Supreme Sword Aura, but you must eventually surpass it."

Suddenly, Tian Xin’s severed body reassembled itself, merging seamlessly back into one.

"And I am here to help you achieve Supreme Sword Aura."

Once he was back on his feet, Tian Xin’s body surged with Supreme Sword Aura.

"I’m sure you already have the understanding and experience to use Supreme Sword Aura, but you still can’t learn it for some reason, right?"

Yuan nodded.

"Then you just need to let it naturally reveal itself, and the best way to do that is through battle. It’s going to hurt, so brace yourself."

Tian Xin warned before attacking with Supreme Sword Aura, sending it toward Yuan like a relentless storm.

The moment Tian Xin’s Supreme Sword Aura collided with Yuan’s True Enhanced Sword Aura, a brief struggle ensued—but soon, Yuan’s aura began to erode under the overwhelming force. Had he relied on mere Enhanced Sword Aura, the Supreme Sword Aura would have torn through it instantly, destroying his physical body without resistance.

"How are you going to deal with this?!"

Tian Xin laughed maniacally as he continued his onslaught, his Supreme Sword Aura growing stronger with every passing moment until it eventually was strong enough to destroy Yuan’s True Enhanced Sword Aura instantly.

Unfortunately, there was little Yuan could do but endure the onslaught. Without his regeneration abilities, he would have perished in that very moment. Yet, he persevered, enduring relentless pain for months on end.

After another year of fighting Tian Xin, Yuan improved himself once more. His Sword Body, which had been attained after fusing his Sword Aura into his body, evolved.

After acquiring Enhanced Sword Body, Yuan’s body became untouchable by Enhanced Auras. Of course, since he was up against Supreme Sword Aura, Tian Xin could still damage him.

Half a month later, Yuan improved his Enhanced Sword Body again, this time fusing his True Enhanced Sword Aura with it.

Throughout the history of the Nine Heavens, fewer than a hundred swordmasters have ever attained a Sword Body, most of them being Sword Emperors. Yet, the number of those who have achieved an Enhanced Sword Body is even rarer, numbering fewer than ten. To reach that level, one must not only master but also perfect Enhanced Sword Aura—a feat even more difficult than attaining Supreme Sword Aura

As for the True Sword Body, Yuan had just become the first in history to attain it. No one had ever reached the level of True Enhanced Sword Aura before, as most abandoned their pursuit of Enhanced Sword Aura after achieving the more prestigious Supreme Sword Aura.

Now with the True Sword Body, Tian Xin’s Supreme Sword Aura could only damage his skin and leave scratches.

By now, three years had passed since Yuan parted ways with the others to train in the Holy Sword Temple. Though he had yet to attain Supreme Sword Aura, his overall combat prowess had grown tremendously, and he could feel its manifestation drawing near.

Most cultivators who attain Supreme Sword Aura spend millions of years honing their craft to manifest even a trace of it, and the majority who pursue it never succeed at all, but Yuan was confident that he would acquire it within the next three years.

Empowered by his True Sword Body, Yuan fought Tian Xin with even greater ferocity. Each clash between them shook the entire temple to its core, but because they battled within a separate dimension, the world outside remained undisturbed.

Meanwhile, news of the Holy Sword Temple’s malfunction spread across the Nine Heavens, revealed by the Sect Leader of the Sword Descending Pavilion after his devastating experience. The news left many disheartened and anxious for the future of the sword path, as the vast majority of those who had attained Supreme Sword Aura had done so within the temple’s training grounds.

The Holy Sword Clan, responsible for overseeing the temple, scrambled to find someone capable of analyzing and repairing the issue. Although Yuan had managed to enter without any issue, they didn’t want to risk it, and until he came out, there was no concrete evidence that the temple was safe.

However, the Holy Sword Temple was no ordinary structure but a divine treasure forged by the Exalted Blacksmith, who has long perished. As such, their only option was to seek out the most experienced blacksmiths in the Nine Heavens, that being the current God of Creation.

Time passed, and in the blink of an eye, another year had passed, making it nearly half a decade since Yuan made his way to the Holy Sword Temple.

Inside, he was still fighting Tian Xin. However, Yuan’s sword aura had begun showing signs of Supreme Sword Aura.

After another month of relentless combat, Yuan’s body suddenly became shrouded in an aura so sharp and intense that it seemed ready to slice through space itself.

In just four years, three years since he entered the Holy Sword Temple, Yuan had achieved Supreme Sword Aura, something that took the others millions of years to achieve.

If this were made public, it would cause an unprecedented uproar.
