Chapter 2322 — Chapter 2322 The Final Push to the Next Realm

"Until we have an expert beyond the Immortal Realm ourselves, we must avoid fighting with the Giant Race. Fortunately, there's a very high chance that their Giant Emperor won't be able to leave their continent, so as long as we don't approach them, they also can't do anything to us!"

"Shouldn't we give a proper name to the realm beyond the Immortal Realm now? Saying that every time is a mouthful."

"There's only one thing stronger than an Immortal—a God. So why don't we just call it the God Realm?"

"God Realm, huh? Sounds good."

After realizing the possibility that Kulas had achieved the God Realm, the Three Pillars of Heaven instantly halted their assault on the Giant's Continent. However, while they stopped attacking with large forces, they continued to send small groups of assassins and scouts to keep an eye on the Giant Race.

And just as the Three Pillars of Heaven had predicted, the Giant Race remained on the continent, seemingly with zero desire to leave for whatever reason.

Time continued to pass, and after a few more thousand years, Tian Yang emerged from his seclusion.

"I did it! I have managed to refine the soul cultivation technique!"

"I'm glad for you, dear, and as much as I'd like to celebrate, there's something you should know first," said Ren Xia.

The excitement on Tian Yang's face instantly vanished at Ren Xia's ominous words.

"What happened?" he asked in a solemn tone.

"The crimson barrier that has sealed the Giant's Continent for thousands of years is no longer present, and the Three Pillars of Heaven resumed their war with the Giant Race."

"What?! When did this happen?! What about Kulas?!" Tian Yang was full of questions.

"It occurred three thousand years ago, a few years after you entered seclusion. Although the Three Pillars of Heaven attacked shortly after the crimson barrier vanished, they failed miserably and haven't attempted to invade them again. As for Kulas… there's no news of him, but he's definitely alive."

Ren Xia recalled what she experienced when she went to check out the Giant's Continent.

"What? You went to the Giant's Continent by yourself? That's so dangerous and reckless!" Tian Yang exclaimed.

"You're the last person I want to hear that from!" Ren Xia rebuked.

Tian Yang sighed and then said, "I'll deal with that later. First…"

He turned to look at Sun Rouxi and said, "Here, let me share the new technique with you. If you cultivate it, your progress will definitely skyrocket."

Sun Rouxi nodded and accepted the new and improved soul cultivation technique.

"What about you?" Tian Yang looked at Ren Xia afterward. "You might be able to learn this technique since it has been tweaked."

"Although I already have a soul cultivation technique that I am cultivating, there's no harm in trying, I guess…"

Tian Yang transferred the technique to her the next moment.

"Are you going to leave now that the technique has been improved?" Tian Yang asked Sun Rouxi some time later.

"I…" Sun Rouxi hesitated for a moment before speaking, "I have given this question much thought ever since I approached you. If our relationship hadn't progressed, I would've definitely returned home. However, now that things are this way, I don't really have any reason to return—No, I have a reason not to return. After all, if I return home, I won't be able to see you again for god-knows-how-long, and I don't want that."

"Rouxi…" A warm smile tugged on Tian Yang's lips.

"But…" Sun Rouxi suddenly continued, "I must warn you that my family will not sit still and will definitely hunt me down. If you don't want to deal with that, then I'll return to my family."

Tian Yang smiled and said, "If I wasn't scared of the Immortal Clans, what makes you think I would be afraid of the Three Pillars of Heaven?"

"My family is nothing like the Immortal Clans. It's like comparing heaven and earth." Sun Rouxi shook her head.

"I know. That's not the point." Tian Yang said with a stiff smile.

"Anyway, I'll deal with the Three Pillars of Heaven if they ever try anything."

Ren Xia then spoke, "As long as their war with the Giant Race continues, I doubt they will have the time to look for you."

She turned to look at Tian Yang and continued, "What are you going to do now?"

"I will go outside to collect more information on the situation. Don't worry, I won't even approach the Giant's Continent until I know of the full situation."

"Alright. Then I'll try to cultivate this soul cultivation technique.

Some time later, Ren Xia and Sun Rouxi entered seclusion while Tian Yang left the world to collect information.

After several years of investigation, Tian Yang learned everything he could and returned home.

"Hm? You're done already?" Tian Yang was surprised to see that both of them had emerged from their seclusion so soon.

"The soul cultivation technique doesn't work for me," Ren Xia said.

"Me neither, even though I can cultivate the original one perfectly fine…" Sun Rouxi sighed, feeling depressed that she couldn't experience the improved technique for some reason.

"Is that so… That's a pity."

"Well, I kind of figured something like this would happen, anyway." Sun Rouxi shrugged.

"So, what now?" Ren Xia asked.

"..."

After a moment of silence, Tian Yang spoke, "According to the rumors, Kulas has already reached the next realm, now known as the God Realm. Now that I have improved my soul cultivation technique, I am going to make the final push and attempt to enter the God Realm myself."

Ren Xia and Sun Rouxi nodded, as they also had the same idea.

"Let's play a game. The winner of this race will receive a favor from the other two." Ren Xia suddenly said. "I won't lose this time," said Tian Yang.

"A favor, huh? I'm in." Sun Rouxi nodded.

Thus, the three of them entered seclusion at the same time with the goal of entering the God Realm.
