Chapter 2371 — Chapter 2371 Supreme Ruler Dena(2)

"He's actually doing it! He's crossing the crimson sea and advancing toward the Ninth Valley!" Lev exclaimed, shock and awe written all over his face.

However, Duk shook his head. "Most True Gods can do the same. The real problem is how long he can endure without making a single mistake. One slip is all it takes to cost him his life. And the closer he gets to Supreme Ruler Dena, the more aggressive the attacks become."

Days passed in the blink of an eye, and Yuan continued to advance toward the Ninth Valley without slowing down.

Eventually, he made it so far that Lev could no longer see him, even with divine sense.

"I can't see him anymore," Lev sighed.

"I can still see him, and he's the same as ever, wielding that weird and sharp energy."

Although the demons' cultivation was far more advanced than that of the Nine Heavens, it didn't mean they surpassed them in every aspect. One area they lacked was weapon auras. Demons rarely used conventional weapons, relying primarily on their own bodies, and any weapons they wielded were usually formed from their own blood.

As a result, while demons were aware of the existence of weapon auras, none of them had attempted to master them. To them, it was pointless, especially since ordinary weapons and their auras were incapable of killing them.

Days turned into weeks, and Supreme Ruler Dena's attacks only grew more intense and powerful.

As for Yuan, he gradually increased his own power, almost as if he were deliberately matching the strength of her attacks.

Weeks turned into months, and unbeknownst to Yuan, he'd already entered the Ninth Valley and had begun approaching the Final Valley.

He'd also traveled so far that even Duk could no longer see him with divine sense.

"Hey, Dena, can you hear me?!" Yuan suddenly spoke out loud.

"This reminds me of our first encounter!"

"When I first came to the Demonic Realm and didn't understand the full situation, I went on an indiscriminate killing spree, slaughtering every demon I encountered. If it weren't for you, I would have killed many more," Yuan said as he recalled his memories as Tian Chenyu.

When Tian Chenyu first entered the Demonic Realm and found himself surrounded by demons, he didn't hesitate in the slightest. Without questioning anything, he began sealing and slaughtering every demon he saw, unaware that there was a distinction between ordinary demons and the Forsaken. To him, all demons were the same—and all of them had to be eliminated.

Tian Chenyu rampaged through the Demonic Realm like an unstoppable natural disaster. Only when Supreme Ruler Dena appeared to confront him did his indiscriminate slaughter finally cease.

That was also when Tian Chenyu learned the truth about the Forsaken—the demons who had invaded and terrorized his world—and the ordinary demons, who were no different from the people of the Divine Heaven.

[True Dragon Awakening!]

After spending a year inside the Ninth Valley, Supreme Ruler Dena's attacks had grown so powerful that Yuan could no longer cut them down with Supreme Sword Aura alone, forcing him to activate True Dragon Awakening and use Chaotic Essence.

[Absolute Dragon Awakening!]

After another year, Yuan had to use Absolute Dragon Awakening just to defend against Supreme Ruler Dena's attacks.

"Damn it… just how much stronger have you become, Dena?!" Yuan shouted as he began using Eternal Essence.

Despite being capable of killing True Gods with ease, he was barely able to keep up with Supreme Ruler Dena's attacks—and he wasn't even facing her true body, only a mere part of it: her hair.

However, Yuan wasn't particularly surprised by this. After all, in the past, Supreme Ruler Dena was the only demon Tian Chenyu couldn't defeat, even with all of his powers.

After traversing the Ninth Valley nonstop for three years and seeing nothing but Supreme Ruler Dena's crimson hair, Yuan suddenly noticed something different on the distant horizon—a massive crimson sphere floating in the sky.

However, upon closer inspection, he realized that it wasn't a sphere at all, but a gigantic cocoon-like structure woven from the same crimson hair.

As Yuan drew closer, the relentless attacks from the crimson hair suddenly ceased.

Then, before his eyes, the crimson strands twisted and intertwined, slowly shaping themselves into the figure of a woman.

Seeing this figure, Yuan tried speaking to it.

"Hey, Dena. Do you recognize me?"

"..."

"Can you hear me?"

"..."

"It's me, Tian Chenyu."

No matter how much Yuan tried to communicate with it, the figure remained silent.

"Looks like I'll have to wake you up by force, huh?" Yuan sighed out loud.

Although it was faint—almost nonexistent—Yuan could sense a presence within the cocoon.

The next moment, he moved toward it, only to be immediately blocked by Supreme Ruler Dena's clone.

"Scram!"

Yuan swung the Demon Devouring Sword, unleashing a burst of Eternal Essence.

In response, the clone swung its arm to meet the attack, exuding a similar aura.

Their energies collided, and to Yuan's surprise, they perfectly canceled each other out.

'What was that?' Yuan wondered, a slight frown appearing on his face.

The aura felt similar to Eternal Essence, but he could tell it wasn't the same.

The next moment, Yuan attacked again without hesitation, unleashing Eternal Essence once more. As expected, the clone countered with that same strange energy.

This time, however, Yuan paid close attention and carefully analyzed it.

'Although it's not real Eternal Essence, it's a carefully recreated imitation of it,' Yuan concluded after carefully analyzing the power, feeling astonished that Supreme Ruler Dena had managed to recreate Eternal Essence.

In order to imitate something, one had to understand it first. For Supreme Ruler Dena to imitate Eternal Essence meant that she had managed to grasp it to a certain degree—an astonishing feat, considering that only Eternals were capable of truly understanding and wielding it.

Even though her fake Eternal Essence wasn't as powerful as the real thing, Supreme Ruler Dena had mastered it to such a degree that it could rival Yuan's true Eternal Essence.
