Chapter 2375 — Chapter 2375 Supreme Ruler Dena's Awakening

"You didn't want to leave me alone? What am I, a child who cannot be left alone?" Yuan shook his head at her reasoning, but a smile tugged at his face.

"By the way, we're inside the Deprived Crimson Valley. The Final Valley, at that."

"...Is that so?" said Supreme Ruler Dena, seemingly not surprised by their location.

"You're not surprised? Do you remember being exiled?" Yuan inquired with a raised eyebrow.

She shook her head.

"I think I vaguely remember something like that. Not that it matters. I can leave this place whenever I want, anyway."

"Because you were given the title of Supreme Ruler, right? Now that I think about it, you might be the first Supreme Ruler to be exiled to the Deprived Crimson Valley," Yuan remarked.

"Probably," she calmly replied with a nonchalant look on her face, almost as if she couldn't care less about such an achievement.

"Now, back to my questions."

"You… Why have you returned to this world?" Supreme Ruler Dena's expression suddenly turned serious as her crimson eyes stared directly into his.

Yuan sighed before replying, "To be honest, it wasn't my intention. I ended up here by accident."

"So you don't have any business with our world… or our people?" she continued to ask, clearly seeking reassurance.

"Don't worry, I have already promised not to interfere with the people of this world as long as you don't invade my world again."

Supreme Ruler Dena nodded and said, "As long as I am here, such a thing will never occur again."

"You mean as long as you are the Supreme Ruler. Unfortunately, since you have been exiled for some reason, we have a new Supreme Ruler," Yuan sighed.

"So what if I had been exiled and replaced? I can simply reclaim my position by getting rid of the current Supreme Ruler."

"..."

'Despite her calm voice and cute face, she's saying some awfully terrible thing,' Yuan sighed inwardly. However, he was already used to her character, so it wasn't too surprising.

"If you do that, you'll become a tyrannical ruler. Do you remember what happened to the last one who tried to rule with absolute authority?" Yuan said a moment later.

"Then what should I do?" she asked him.

"Before we even consider anything, we need to figure out the reason behind your exile. I thought it was because you had turned into Forsaken at first because of what I was told, but that's clearly not the case."

"Me? A Forsaken? Ridiculous," she quietly sneered in disdain at whoever made up such a bold lie.

"Honestly, I wouldn't blame them if they thought you had turned Forsaken. After all, you were being controlled by that curse." "..."

Supreme Ruler Dena fell silent, as she had no excuses for that.

"Anyway, are you ready to leave this place?" Yuan then asked.

Supreme Ruler Dena stood up and replied, "Yes."

Yuan also got off the ground and did a quick stretch. The next moment, Supreme Ruler Dena withdrew her personal domain, sending them back to the world outside.

When they returned to the Final Valley, Yuan was stunned by the barren landscape that stretched before him.

The crimson sea was gone, but it had already consumed all life that once existed there.

"..."

Supreme Ruler Dena stared silently at the barren land for a moment before asking quietly, "Am I responsible for this?"

Yuan didn't try to sugarcoat his answer. "Even if it wasn't by your own will, you are technically responsible."

After another moment of silence, Supreme Ruler Dena lifted her palm above the lifeless land and let a single drop of her now-crimson blood fall to the ground.

In the next instant, a powerful ripple spread outward, restoring the land's lost life force and breathing new vitality into it.

The land, which had remained dead for billions of years, suddenly came back to life as crimson grass and weirdly shaped trees began to grow rapidly.

"Where do you want to go?" Supreme Ruler Dena asked after taking a moment to admire her own work.

"The Eighth Valley. I have some people waiting for me there."

Without another word, Supreme Ruler Dena grabbed Yuan's hand and took a step forward.

In the next instant, Yuan was pulled into a different dimension.

'Void Manipulation!'

He immediately recognized the power she had used, and it was several levels more advanced than his own.

In mere moments, they arrived at the border between the Eighth and Ninth Valleys—something that had taken Yuan several years to traverse before.

Seeing how convenient Void Manipulation was, Yuan decided to master it as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Lev, who had been hiding not far away, suddenly sensed Yuan's presence return. "This presence… he's back!?"

Realizing whose presence it belonged to, Lev hurried out of his hiding place, unable to hide his excitement.

However, his excitement quickly turned into shock and terror when he noticed the beautiful young woman standing beside Yuan.

She possessed a slender and modest figure, her head almost reaching Yuan's chest, and she looked as though she had only recently reached adulthood. Her pale skin, long crimson hair, and sharp crimson eyes made her appearance both striking and unsettling.

Yet the most frightening thing about her was the terrifying aura she emitted, one that could not be hidden—not that she was trying to hide it in the first place.

"S-S-Supreme Ruler Dena?!?!" Lev cried out loud, not daring to believe his eyes.

When he saw her, he subconsciously turned around and started running away, even though Yuan was also with her.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Yuan immediately activated Demon Sealing Zone to prevent Lev from running away without hurting him.

"Please spare my life!" Lev cried as tears literally flowed from his eyes.

"Calm down. Nobody is trying to take your pitiful life." Yuan sighed out loud, but Lev continued pleading for his life, as if he couldn't hear Yuan.

"Who is this weirdo?" Supreme Ruler Dena questioned Yuan about his relationship with this odd individual.

"A friend I made along the way to meet you," he replied with a weak smile.
