Chapter 2394 — Chapter 2394 Fighting the True Emperor of the Seas

The True Emperor of the Seas fell from the sky after the Primal Sovereign of the Seas spat it out, but before the True Emperor of the Seas could even touch the surface of the crimson sea, Yuan had severed all of its massive tentacles.

Splash!

The True Emperor of the Seas fell into the water, causing a massive tidal wave to surge in all directions.

Yet, despite having all of its tentacles severed, the True Emperor of the Seas regenerated them almost instantly, its recovery ability surpassing even that of high-ranking demons.

Then, it rose from the crimson sea, an overwhelming aura erupting from its body—dense with bloodlust and seething fury.

"I don't care anymore! I am going to kill all of you, even if it's the last thing I do!" The True Emperor of the Seas declared as it set its eyes on Yuan, who was clearly the easiest target there.

"Oh? It can actually speak?" Yuan mumbled after confirming the True Emperor of the Seas could speak, as he doubted his ears earlier when it cursed out loud.

The True Emperor of the Seas wasted no time. Having marked Yuan, it raised its massive tentacles—each capable of flattening an entire mountain—before bringing them crashing down toward him.

"The same trick as last time, huh?" Yuan muttered, recalling how it had used the very same attack against Tian Yang before.

However, this time, he wasn't as weak as Tian Yang, and he actually had the prowess to fight back.

He gathered his Supreme Sword Aura and Eternal Essence before swinging his sword at the incoming tentacles, slicing them as easily as a hot blade going through a thin stick of butter.

"What?! That power is—!" The True Emperor of the Seas couldn't believe its eyes after seeing Yuan use Eternal Essence.

Although Yuan had also used Eternal Essence during his earlier attack, the True Emperor of the Seas was too distracted to notice. This time, however, he sensed it clearly.

"Why the hell do you have that power as a human?!" The True Emperor of the Seas questioned Yuan. No, it demanded an answer.

"Who the hell are you?! And why are you colluding with the Primal Sovereign of the Seas against me?!" It continued to bombard Yuan with questions.

"You don't remember me?" Yuan replied calmly. "Well… I suppose that's only natural, given how much time has passed," he added.

"My name is Yu—Tian Yang, and I am here to collect a debt you owe… one long overdue," he declared.

"A debt?! When the hell did that happen?!"

"Some time during the Primordial Era."

"Primordial Era?! You've got to be kidding me! That was countless years ago!"

Yuan let out a cold sneer, his gaze turning frigid. "I don't care how much time has passed—or whether you remember. Today… I will be the one to hunt you!"

After his declaration, Yuan started attacking the True Emperor of the Seas again.

"Fuck!"

The True Emperor of the Seas was quickly overwhelmed by Yuan's immense prowess. Not only had it spent an entire week being relentlessly pursued by the Primal Sovereign of the Seas, but it had also exhausted half of its energy just moments before encountering Yuan, leaving it in the most weakened state it had ever experienced.

"It's useless! Even with that power, you cannot kill me!" the True Emperor of the Seas declared, its mocking laughter echoing across the sea as Yuan severed thousands of its tentacles only for it to recover fully in the blink of an eye.

Even though Yuan had fought and defeated it before during the Supreme Sword Emperor Qualifications, the True Emperor of the Seas at that time was merely a fake clone, and all of its weak points were fabricated for the trial, so Yuan couldn't use the same method for the real thing.

Yet, he didn't seem worried in the slightest and continued to swing his sword at the giant squid.

"Hahaha! Are you dumb or something?! No matter how many times you sever my arms, they will endlessly regenerate!" The True Emperor of the Seas laughed out loud.

However, Yuan completely ignored it and continued attacking for the next several days, until the entire sea was littered with the True Emperor of the Seas' severed tentacles.

"Useless! Useless! Useless! Hahaha—?!"

The True Emperor of the Seas' laughter abruptly ceased as it sensed something amiss within its body after days of relentless regeneration. Its recovery—once near-instant—had begun to noticeably slow.

"What?! My regeneration! What the hell did you do to my body?!" The True Emperor of the Seas cried out in a terrified voice.

"..."

Yuan paid it no mind and continued his assault, unleashing a relentless barrage of attacks with shifting energies. At times, he struck with Supreme Sword Aura; at others, with Chaotic Essence—and sometimes, he wielded both in tandem, layering their might into a single, devastating strike.

The True Emperor of the Seas recognized four of the five energies Yuan wielded—his Supreme Sword Aura, Chaotic Essence, Celestial Qi, and Eternal Essence. However, the fifth was completely unfamiliar to it, and it immediately assumed that unknown power to be the source of the anomaly.

While the True Emperor of the Seas remained unaware, Lev and Supreme Ruler Dena—watching from afar—recognized that energy all too well. They had seen Yuan wield it before, and there was no mistaking it.

It was none other than Demon Sealing Aura.

Although Demon Sealing Aura was most effective against demons, it could also affect other beings if wielded with sufficient strength. It had been created specifically to counter demons and their regenerative abilities. In other words, it could suppress and weaken one's capacity to regenerate.

Despite Yuan's overwhelmingly powerful Demon Sealing Aura, the True Emperor of the Seas possessed the cultivation of a Cultivation God and an enormous physique, meaning it required a tremendous amount of that aura before its effects began to show.

When the True Emperor of the Seas realized that Yuan was somehow suppressing its regenerative ability and that it currently lacked the strength to fight back, it immediately began contemplating escape. However, with the Primal Sovereign of the Seas lurking nearby, such a plan was far easier imagined than executed.
