Chapter 2425 — Chapter 2425 Devouring the Supreme Ancestor

"T-There must be a misunderstanding! The Supreme Ancestor can't have turned into a Forsaken!" The Supreme Adviser tried to reason with Yuan, but he wasn't having any of it.

"The foul stench coming from him, there's no mistaking it," Yuan remarked as he stopped holding back and attacked the Supreme Ancestor with his Eternal Essence.

Despite the Supreme Ancestor's superior cultivation as an Absolute God, it was nowhere near enough to handle Yuan's Eternal Essence. After he devoured the curse that had taken control of Supreme Ruler Dena's body in the Deprived Crimson Valley, his Eternal Essence improved tremendously, which was stronger than Supreme Ruler Grant and Supreme Ruler Dena… combined. "If you kill the Supreme Ancestor, you'll truly become the enemy of this world!" The Supreme Adviser continued.

Yuan sneered, "If you don't shut up, I'll kill you too."

The Supreme Adviser trembled at his cold words.

Yuan continued, "You tossed Dena into the Deprived Crimson Valley without solid evidence that she'd turned into a Forsaken, yet you're going to spare this asshole? There's really something wrong with your logic!" "That's…" Unable to refute Yuan's words, the Supreme Adviser turned silent and lowered his head in shame.

"Die, you insufferable bastard!" the Supreme Ancestor roared, hurling everything he had at Yuan.

"I should be saying that to you," Yuan sneered as he coated the Demon Devouring Sword.

Instead of using spiritual energy, Yuan activated Heaven Splitting Sword Strike using pure Eternal Essence, something he'd never done before due to a lack of Eternal Essence.

An unstoppable beam of Eternal Essence shot toward the Supreme Ancestor, who tried to run but was suddenly restricted by the Demon Annihilation Array Yuan had set up again shortly after his last one was destroyed.

"You—!"

The beam completely engulfed the Supreme Ancestor, and his silhouette was almost instantly vaporized. However, even with such a powerful attack, it was not able to completely destroy his heart.

Seeing this, Yuan tossed the Demon Devouring Sword at it.

"Devour it!" he commanded.

The instant the Demon Devouring Sword's tip touched the Supreme Ancestor's heart, the illusion of a colossal jaw manifested, snapping shut around the crystal and devouring it.

"Hm?" Yuan raised an eyebrow when he saw these notifications, looking pleasantly surprised by it.

He never knew the Demon Devouring Sword could evolve, much less that it was already in the process of its evolution.

'Looks like I still haven't recalled all of Tian Chenyu's memories…'

However, now that he thought about it, the fact the Demon Devouring Sword could evolve wasn't too surprising, as it was originally an ordinary sword that evolved into a powerful treasure specifically meant to kill demons.

And while the Demon Devouring Sword has devoured countless demons throughout the years, including high-ranking demons like Demon Emperors, it had never tasted the core of a Supreme Ancestor, a demon that once ruled the Demonic Realm as a Supreme Ruler.

Moments later…

[Unique Ability: When wielding the Demon Annihilation Sword, all Demon Sealing Techniques will have their power amplified by 666,666% -> 6,666,666%]

[Unique Ability(5): All demons below the rank of 'Supreme Ruler' that are struck by this sword will be instantly annihilated. All annihilated demons will be considered devoured.]

[Unique Ability(6): The Demon Annihilation Sword can transform into a Sword Spirit, possessing a will of its own.]

"Oh? It can also transform now?" Yuan muttered after seeing its new ability.

Without hesitation, he immediately tested the ability out.

In the next moment, the Demon Annihilation Sword began to change. Its blade extended and reshaped into a humanoid torso and limbs, while the hilt twisted and formed into a human head.

However, it didn't fully become human—only a rough approximation. It had no facial features or hair, appearing as a smooth, human‑sized mannequin.

"Uhhh…"

Just as Yuan thought the Demon Annihilation Sword had finished transforming, it suddenly trembled, and new details began to emerge. Long black hair spilled from its head, and distinctly feminine features formed on its face. Its body also became taller and more slender.

"Y-You…"

Yuan's eyes nearly bulged from their sockets at the Demon Annihilation Sword's final form, his heart pounding like war drums.

Meanwhile, the Demon Annihilation Sword stared back at Yuan with her clear, hazel-colored eyes.

After a moment of silence, she muttered in a low voice, "Chenyu…"

Yuan swallowed nervously before subconsciously responding, "Ai… Rong?"

The Demon Annihilation Sword had shockingly taken the form of Tian Chenyu's sweetheart, Ai Rong!

'No… there's no way that's the real Ai Rong. It must have taken the form of the person it believes Tian Chenyu loved most…' Yuan thought.

Suddenly, the Demon Annihilation Sword turned away from Yuan to look at the Supreme Adviser, who was hovering not too far away with a bewildered expression on his face.

"Demon…"

The Demon Annihilation Sword muttered in a cold voice, then her expression twisted into a sadistic grin.

"I'll eradicate all of the demons in this world!" she shouted, suddenly charging at the Supreme Adviser, who let out a piercing scream like a man haunted by a vengeful ghost before turning around and running away.

"H-Hey! Stop! He's not a target!" Yuan hastily said to the Demon Annihilation Sword.

The Demon Annihilation Sword stopped chasing the Supreme Adviser.

However, before Yuan could even say anything else, she turned to look in the direction where Supreme Ruler Grant and Supreme Ruler Dena were fighting and flew toward them.

"Wait!"

Yuan shouted at her again, but instead of stopping, she actually quickened her pace.

"Damn it! How do I even undo her transformation?!" Yuan exclaimed as he chased after her.
