Chapter 719 — Gluttony Avatar’s Transformation

Anna’s speed was extremely fast.

After all, she was the Will born from the Information World, akin to the Will born from the Cosmic Universe.

She had inherited not only the Information World’s power, but also its authority and characteristics.

In a flash, her condensed body appeared outside the vast expanse of nothingness, ready to plunge into it and eliminate Liora.

Just then, though, her expression changed.

A person unknowingly appeared behind her.

As her consciousness swept over their figure, Anna immediately recognized them.

It was the woman who had been following Liora all this while—Alpha.

Anna had seldom paid attention to this person in the past.

She knew very well that although Alpha was also an Otherworld Invader, her status, strength, and potential were far beneath Liora’s.

Her estimation had been proven correct.

Unlike Liora, who had made great leaps in strength during her journey to this world, reaching Rank 12 with her real body and possessing Rank 14 power through the Human Emperor Clone, the current Alpha stood merely at Rank 11.

For ordinary Awakeners, such a speed of progress was already extraordinary.

But for someone at their level, each advancement would result in a tremendous improvement in strength.

In Anna’s eyes, a mere Rank 11 Awakener was nothing, barely better than an ant.

Just as she was about to eliminate the person blocking her way, Anna’s eyes suddenly contracted.

An overwhelming pressure erupted from Alpha’s body and descended upon her.

The moment the pressure touched her, Anna felt her mind short-circuit.

The thought of taking action disappeared, and she appeared to have been frozen in time.

Although she snapped out of it only a few moments later, Anna’s expression turned serious.

"Who are you? You can’t be Alpha."

"How are you so powerful?" she asked several questions.

In response, though, the indifferent maid remained silent.

With a single wave of her hand, countless Mechanical Beings emerged. They then fused together under her control and overlapped with her own figure.

Her power began to improve rapidly as a result.

Pinnacle of Rank 11. Rank 12. Rank 13.

In the blink of an eye, Alpha’s strength was no weaker than that of the Human Ruler before he merged with the mecha.

Mechanical Emperor!

Just like the status of Human Emperor that Liora had inherited, Alpha had also become the Mechanical Emperor—even before Liora did.

As the ruler of the Mechanical Race, she could fuse with her subordinates and borrow their strength for her use.

Most importantly, she possessed a direct suppression over other technology-based beings.

Under normal circumstances, the former was the most important aspect of her status as the Mechanical Emperor.

But today, facing Anna, the latter had become just as important, if not even more so.

After all, the Information World could also be considered a technological achievement.

Anna’s previous freeze had been caused by the suppression of her status!

Although Alpha had many thoughts, she didn’t hesitate to unleash her full strength.

Without further thought, she directly attacked.

Mechanical cannons, lasers, and streams of information rushed out from her body, attacking Anna from every direction.

Despite being powerful, Anna had to take these attacks seriously.

After taking one last glance at the expanse of nothingness, she suppressed her worries and decided to deal with her opponent first.

Soon, a battle between two technology-based beings broke out.

On one side stood Alpha, the Mechanical Emperor who had grown step by step from a Little Devil to become who she was today.

On the other side was Anna, the lifeline of the Human Federation and the "fruit" planted by the "Human Emperor."

Both women were extraordinary. They could not be compared with ordinary Awakeners, whether in terms of potential or strength.

Not long after they collided, the aftermath of their battle spread throughout the Information World.

--

Although she was not affected by their battle, Liora immediately sensed that Anna and Alpha were fighting.

She was not surprised. This was part of her plan.

After all, she knew very well that Anna would come to stop her.

Because of that, she had used the past year to gather enough Mechanical Beings to help Alpha contain her.

Now, it seemed that she had made the correct decision.

Even if Alpha could not suppress Anna single-handedly, restraining her for some time was a sure thing.

That was enough for Liora.

"Moreover, since Anna is unable to suppress Alpha in her current state, she will never be able to defeat her in the future either," Liora whispered as she turned her head toward the Gluttony Avatar behind her.

Its outburst had grown even more powerful.

Each Sin Avatar used their respective sin as nourishment, becoming stronger with each absorption.

Upon their condensation, their strength was equal to that of Lesser Devils.

As they absorbed more and more sin, they would become increasingly powerful. Even becoming Princes of the Demon World was possible.

The state of devouring the Gluttony Avatar was currently in, as well as the Profane Offering continuously activated by Liora, had accelerated the Sin Avatar’s growth process countless times.

By now, its strength had reached the peak of the Archdevil stage, with its functions and characteristics growing more prominent.

Its devouring range had increased accordingly.

With a single glance, Liora sensed that it had devoured around four percent of the Information World.

The moment that percentage reached five percent, another transformation took place.

A deafening boom echoed within Liora’s mind as countless negative emotions assaulted her senses.

Hunger. Thirst.

Gluttony.

For a moment, Liora felt as though she hadn’t eaten or drunk anything for billions of years. It was as though she had become a gluttonous demon who would not rest until it devoured everything in existence.

This was a test of practicing the Primordial Sin Art.

If one could not withstand the impact of these emotions, they would completely lose themselves and be replaced by the Primordial Sins.

Fortunately, Liora’s will had always been strong.

Combined with the fact that she was already an Ancient Devil, she was able to suppress the thoughts of Gluttony.

The moment her mind became clear again, the Sin Avatar’s transformation was finally completed.

A deafening explosion rang within her mind.
