Chapter 1059 — Book 2: Chapter 257: Chaos plus chaos (6)

Cale sat down for now.
He couldn’t see below him, but he sat down with his legs crossed and there was indeed a bottom.
“So, what you are saying is…”
Cale scowled and tapped around his eyes with his finger as he spoke.
“I can get your help to reestablish the aura of this world?”
– Yeah! Well, you can think of it more like a regression to the original rather than a reestablishment!
The face of the foundation of this world looked bright despite the sniffling.
“Reason.”
“Give me a short but accurate explanation as to how that is possible.”
– O, okay.
The foundation of this world warily looked at Cale, who spoke sternly, and wiped the snot with her dangling hair.
– The auras of nature are in balance inside your body. That is the reason you did not lose any life force when you came in here and instead want the power inside here.
Sniff.
She sniffled once more before continuing to speak.
– Basically, you have the qualifications of a path.
“A path?”
– A path to pass my power into this world!
The foundation of this world continued to explain and Cale listened before responding.
“In simple terms, I can pull your power to air out the world once before returning it back to you?”
– Yeah! It won't harm you at all! If you wipe the world once with the aura, the scraps will naturally disappear!
‘What the hell? Am I an air purifier?
No.
I'm not an air purifier since I don't need to do the act of a filter.
“…….”
Cale could not believe the thought he just had. He thought that he had quite the odd thoughts in his life.
‘What? An air purifier? Really?’
He was flabbergasted.
“And what benefits do I get?”
He at least needed to know what he could gain.
– Your plate will become sturdier!
‘Hmm?’
– Hoo!
– Oh?
– Ah?
The cheapskate, the Sky Eating Water, and the Super Rock reacted one after the other.
– The foundation of this world, this power can be called a pure essence of nature. Your plate will get sturdier as this power goes through you. Your plate is extremely large but was broken once and put back together.
That was correct.
Mila’s attribute, Connect together, was used to put Cale’s plate back together.
– Of course, it got sturdier from the process of being put together and your plate is sturdier than its original limit because of the elixirs you've used and the strengthening of your ancient powers, but… It still makes you anxious, doesn’t it?
‘That is true.’
Mila had warned him.
She said that she would not be able to put his plate back together if it broke again.
– If you do this, your plate will get so strong that even the traces of it being put back together will disappear!
‘Mm.
That is a bit tempting.’
Cale nonchalantly asked.
"What about any side effects?”
– I don't think there will be any? You may get a bit dizzy, but it should hurt a lot less than you struggling because your plate is weak?
Sniff sniff. The foundation of this world was sniffling so much Cale couldn't help but wonder how much snot she had.
– Cale, you are not a single-lifer.
“That’s right.”
– Then it is okay!
“Why? Is it bad for single-lifers?”
– Yeah! I think it’ll hurt a ton for them!
‘Oh.
I definitely can't let Choi Han do it. Choi Jung Soo and Choi Jung Gun as well.’
– Cale, it is okay for you because your body is close to nature, to a new world!
‘Hmm?’
He heard something weird.
‘A new world?’
Cale recalled a memory fragment.
The Central Plains. It was something Old man Baek, the one responsible for making the jiangshis for the Blood Cult, had said to Cale.
“Nature is inside you.’
‘Also, you have powers gained from numerous times and spaces.’
‘Basically, you have nature, time, and space within you. You've also recorded those things.’
He had added on.
“Of course, your world is still not balanced. Water is overflowing and fire is sweeping over the earth.’
Cale’s mouth opened.
“But the attributes of nature inside of me aren’t completely even.”
– So what?
The foundation of this world looked confused.
“Wait, you said that I am in balance, didn’t you?”
She clearly said that the auras of nature were balanced inside of him.
– Yeah. I did!
However, the size of Cale’s different ancient powers were not all the same.
This was the reason it was hard for Cale to completely believe the foundation of this world.
The foundation of this world spoke in a bright voice at that moment.
– The balance of nature is not talking about all powers being even in strength.
"What do you mean by that?”
– Volcanic areas have strong fire. But those places are still part of nature. The oceans have strong water, but those are part of nature as well. Swamps, deserts, all are part of nature!
‘Ah.’
Cale understood what she meant.
– The appearance of nature can be different. But everything is within it. Just like you, Cale.
Shhhh. She wiped her nose once more with her hair before continuing to speak.
– To me, your insides look like its own world. It's beautiful!
‘It’s beautiful.’
Old man Baek had said the same thing.
‘The world within the King's Successor was terrible. It was not beautiful at all. It was scary. To have something like that in such a young body- But you are beautiful.’
The world within the omnipotent god candidate that the Hunters had created had all sorts of emotions swirling wildly.
It contained so much despair, delight, joy, fear, etc.
It was another plate of god, different from Cale’s.
‘Mm.’
Old man Baek had said that Cale had the ‘plate of god.’
‘So, I will turn you into a god.’
Old man Baek’s words about turning him into a god echoed in his mind.
He also recalled what the God of Balance had said.
‘Immediately cast aside this human mask. Become a god.’
‘Everything you have accomplished turning into a myth is the easiest way to restore balance.’
Plate of god. Myths. Worship.
The things that were supposedly required to become a god flew through his mind.
– Umm, umm, uhh… An, angel-nim?
Cale instantly scowled while thinking.
‘An angel? Can she cut that crap out?’
"What is it?”
– No, it's just…
The foundation of this world warily looked at Cale while twirling her hair with her finger before hesitantly speaking.
– C, could you please do it?
“For free?”
-!
The child's pupils shook.
She then fiercely shook her head. Her hair fluttered.
– N, not for free! I'm not that shameless!
“Hooooo. Good. We can talk about the compensation later.”
Cale asked the things he was curious about first.
“What should I do with this seed of the World Tree? And the air puri, no, your aura, can we use it right away?”
– No, we can't do it right away. That is the issue.
Sniff.
She slowly started crying again.
She still managed to get the words out as she cried.
– Sob. T, that Dragon Lord's attribute is time.
“I know.”
– That guy used his attribute to ‘Stop Time’ on the aura of this world.
“Stop Time?”
Cale looked toward the child. The child nodded her head after receiving his gaze.
– Yeah. The Dragon Lord tied time down in its current state.
“…But time is flowing?”
– He only tied down the time of the aura.
“Something like that is possible?”
Cale could not hide his shock.
Aipotu.
‘He can tie down the time of an aura that is spread throughout this large world?
Is that something a single individual can do?
Would even a god be able to do something like that?’
– …He’s very strong. The Dragon Lord is already a god.
Cale looked toward the foundation of this world after hearing her mumble in a low voice.
Her clear eyes that were visible through her dangling hair were full of tear marks, but calm.
No, they were barely hiding the fear inside her.
– He used the World Tree to approach the flow, and the moment he reached the flow, he stole a significant amount of my power, the foundation of this world, and absorbed it himself.
= …It happened before I could even recognize what was going on.
However, the fear inside her was not directed only at the Dragon Lord.
– Because at that time, I was busy keeping an eye on the god that was visiting this world. That was why I didn't even know my hands and feet were being stolen from me.
Cale’s mouth opened.
“Was it the God of War?”
– …I can't answer.
She said that she could not answer, but she did not deny it, so Cale realized that he was right.
“Is the God of War working with the Hunters?”
– No clue. I really don’t know.
The child shook her head.
– I was just tense because he visited this world and went sightseeing.
– Because gods are exactly like their titles.
Cale’s eyebrows slightly rose up.
“Since he is the God of War he goes to where there is war?”
– …I don’t know whether he goes to where there is war or he shows up to start wars.
Cale quietly nodded his head.
The foundation of this world looked at him and continued to speak.
– Any way, the Dragon Lord, especially including absorbing my aura, is abnormally strong. Maybe- maybe-
The child was unable to continue before barely managing to get the words out.
– It might not be wrong to see him already as the God of Time.
Cale suddenly recalled the words about how Raon was the existence that would save this world.
Raon’s attribute was the present.
Raon also had the qualifications to become the Dragon Lord.
Cale did his best to change his train of thought.
"So you are saying that while Stop Time is in effect, you can’t proceed with your plan?”
– If you go to the Dragon Lord's lair, the reference point for when Stop Time was activated should exist.
“The reference point?”
– Yeah. I don’t know whether it would be in the form of a seal or a device, but… If it is a seal, you just have to break it. If it is a device, stop it.
"Then Stop Time will be released?”
– That’s right. At that moment, weird phenomena will happen in the world like during the time of the cataclysmic period and the aura of the world will roar wildly.
“That is the time when I use your power to sweep through this world?”
– Yeah! That’s right! You really are smart!
Cale nonchalantly commented to the child who was smiling brightly and nodding her head.
“Is that easy?”
– …No.
Cale sighed while looking at the foundation of this world curl up significantly.
– But even now my power keeps going out. We need to stop that first. Only then can I store my power to hand it over to you.
“Huuuuu.”
Cale let out a sigh.
‘Fine. Let’s do it.
The situation is already like this.
The Dragon Lord is a bastard I need to get rid of anyway.
So heading to his lair to destroy a device or a seal… I just have to do it.
Let’s sneak in there.’
Of course, he planned to sneak in, stealthily breaking it, and running away.
“Is your power being sucked out through the World Tree?”
– Yeah!
“And you are unable to stop that?”
– …Yeah.
She answered with a sulking expression on her face.
– I need to personally make a move to stop the hole, but all I can do right now is to persist here.
Cale crossed his arms.
“Then I need to first go to the World Tree to block that hole.”
– Yeah, yeah!
“Then to the Dragon Lord's lair to destroy that reference point. After that, use your power to restore the aura?”
– That’s right, that’s right! Then you just need to plant the seed you have in an appropriate spot!
‘The World Tree?”
– Yeah, yeah!
Cale nodded his head before asking.
“Where is the World Tree?”
– In the east. The punk who uses a name that does not suit him at all, the god of earth, is protecting the World Tree.
The god of earth.
He was one of the ten Dragon gods and the strongest of the three stars.
Furthermore, one of the Inquisitors had sent an Earth Elemental to his castle.
‘I was planning on going there after here anyway.
That’s good.’
Cale lightheartedly set his next destination.
“Mm. I guess I need to immediately head over to the god of earth.”
– Ah, but!
The foundation of this world slowly raised her hand.
"What is it?”
– Umm, I don’t know if it will be helpful, but…
“Okay. Speak.”
Cale answered in a stoic voice and the child warily peeked at him as she continued to speak.
– It’s better to have more people on our side, the stronger we are, right?
“That’s right.”
– The Dragons are acting as gods, but wouldn’t it be good to have a real god advent down?
‘A real god?’
Cale subconsciously commented back.
“The Blue Wolf?”
– Yeah! The King of the Beasts!
She seemed excited that Cale knew about that existence. The foundation of this world rattled on.
– Being down here, I understood a bit of what was going on up top.
The First Star, the God of Dominance, Ryan.
The Dragon Lord’s trusted subordinate.
The foundation of the world, who resided deep underneath his castle, in a spot nobody really knew, spoke.
– I can hear the cries.
"And?”
– Of the numerous cries, I can hear the voices of beasts.
Ryan was said to treat the fierce Beast people like slaves in his castle.
– But that cry is familiar.
The child stuck her head on the surface of the orb.
Her cheeks were squished.
– It looks like a divine item.
Cale’s eyes opened wide.
– This is definitely that thing. This is the ‘Cry of Sunset.’
One of the divine items.
– I can hear the cries of a wolf.
– I'm sure that Ryan has the divine item. He is probably trying to use it.
The guards had supposedly gotten stricter these days and they continued to hear weird noises from Ryan's castle…
Choi Han also heard some cries inside the weird noise coming from the castle. That cry made him think of the black despair.
‘What the hell are they doing?’
It seemed clear that something was happening in Ryan’s castle.
‘If the divine item of the Blue Wolf really does exist in Ryan's castle-’
The Beast people tribes of Aipotu brushed through his mind. Existences who could not properly go berserk. If they could go berserk properly…
– Cale, shouldn't we loot it?
Cale sternly answered the Super Rock's words.
“Of course we will loot it.”
* * *
“Cale-nim!”
“Human!”
Choi Han and Raon quickly approached Cale, who was coming through the radiant bright lights.
Cale, who came through the light, showed no injuries anywhere. Actually, his complexion looked good.
He addressed the people who waited for him.
“I think we need to loot Ryan's castle.”
Choi Han flinched while Raon shouted with a bright look on his face.
“Human, are we looting a castle for the first time in a long while?”
Cale lightheartedly nodded his head.
He confidently extended his hand toward the Elf Guardian. The Elf Guardian, Wiesha, and others looked at Cale with blank looks on their faces, but Cale just spoke with his palms extended out.
“Do you have a map of the inside of Ryan’s castle?”
Hand over the map.
His tone, expression, and actions made it feel as if that was the true meaning behind these words.
