Chapter 1594 — Chapter 1594 Yuan's Disappearance

After realizing that Yuan had completely disappeared, Xi Meili immediately transformed and approached Grand Elder Lu, who was stunned by her transformation.

"You bastards! What did you do to him?! Where did you take him?!"

Xi Meili grabbed the stunned Grand Elder Lu by the collar of her robes and roared, disregarding the difference in their cultivation.

"It's a dragon!" The people there were incredibly excited to see someone from the Dragon Clan there, as dragons were incredibly rare within the Fourth Heaven.

"W-wait! We aren't responsible for the rift!" Grand Elder Lu exclaimed, clearly nervous about Xi Meili's identity.

"Bullshit! You were the ones who attacked him!" Xi Meili refused to believe that they were not responsible for Yuan's disappearance.

"Please let her go. Although we attacked him, we didn't create that rift." Grand Elder Tang grabbed Xi Meili's wrist and spoke with a deep frown.

"I swear on my soul that we didn't purposefully create that rift! This is the first time I've seen or heard of anything like that, too!" Grand Elder Lu shouted.

However, Xi Meili refused to let her go.

Suddenly, another voice resounded, "Let her go. They're not responsible." Xi Meili turned around to see Kelan descending toward them.

"Che." Xi Meili reluctantly released Grand Elder Lu, who quickly stepped back.

"Who are you?" Grand Elder Tang asked Kelan with a worried frown. Just by Kelan's formidable aura alone, he could tell that he was not someone they could offend.

Kelan, who made a swift return after noticing Yuan's presence had disappeared, revealed his Faction Symbol and said, "I am Kelan from the faction Celestial Overlords." "The Celestial Overlords!?" The Grand Elders were greatly bewildered by this information.

Although the Celestial Overlords primarily operated within the Upper Heavens, their reputation and influence were immense enough to reach the Fourth Heavens.

'What the hell is such a bigshot doing in the Fourth Heaven?! And he's even a Commander!' Grand Elder Tang cried inwardly.

As mighty and influential as the Three Grand Sects were, they were no different than ants before the Celestial Overlords. With just a single command, even someone at the rank of Commander like Kelan could wipe out the Three Grand Sects, and nobody would even question them. That was how powerful the Celestial Overlords were.

"This humble junior greets the Commander! Please forgive my earlier disrespect!" Grand Elder Tang quickly bowed, his tone laden with reverence. Grand Elder Lu immediately followed suit, mirroring his deference.

Seeing that Kelan hadn't responded, Grand Elder Tang quickly continued, "Please let me explain—"

Kelan immediately interrupted, "You don't need to explain anything. I have been watching from the beginning, so I understand the situation fully."

"Do you know why Yuan disappeared?! If he was taken by the rift, where did it take him?!" Xi Meili urgently asked Kelan, her voice filled with desperation.

'That young man has connections with the Celestial Ovelords?! We're doomed!' Elder Hao cried inwardly after connecting the dots.

Kelan looked at Xi Meili and responded, "I don't know where he was taken, but I have some speculations."

"Although nobody really knows where the magical beasts come from, people have speculated that they come from another world—one that is filled with endless magical beasts. As for why they're being sent to the Nine Heavens, we don't have the slightest clue."

"The rift that took Yuan… I have heard about it before. They rarely appear when an 'Endless Beast Den' is destroyed. Many people have entered such a rift to explore the unknown and find out where the magical beasts are coming from, but nobody has returned so far, and people eventually stopped entering them."

"What?! Nobody has managed to return?! Are you certain about that?! But Yuan—!" Xi Meili didn't dare to finish her sentence.

Kelan understood what Xi Meili was trying to say and gritted his teeth in anger. He was tasked to protect Yuan and failed miserably so quickly.

"I'll need to contact my superiors. Maybe they will know what to do…" Kelan eventually said.

"Y-your superiors…?" The Grand Elders swallowed nervously after hearing such words.

The only ones ranking above a Commander are Overlords and Celestial Overlords. Should an individual of such stature descend to the Fourth Heaven, it would undoubtedly provoke an immense commotion.

"What should I do…?" Xi Meili asked.

"Just stay here and wait for my return. Who knows. Maybe Yuan will return while I am away." Kelan said before disappearing into the horizon.

"I-I must contact my Sect Leader!" Grand Elder Tang exclaimed, his entire being soaked in sweat.

"M-me, too!" Grand Elder Lu said.

Shortly after the two Grand Elders left the scene, Grand Elder Du woke up from his slumber.

Seeing this, Elder Hao immediately rushed to his side.

"W-what happened to me? Where am I…?" Grand Elder Du looked at his surroundings with a dazed face.

Grand Elder Du quickly came to his senses and jumped up, "Where's that little bastard?!"

"Grand Elder! We have an emergency!" Elder Hao cried out loud once he reached Grand Elder Du's side.

"Huh? Elder Hao? What's the matter?"

"We need to return to the sect and speak with the Sect Leader!"

"Why? What happened?" "I don't have the time to explain! We need to leave immediately!" Elder Hao didn't say anything else and flew away.

Grand Elder Du looked around but couldn't see either Yuan or the other two Grand Elders.

'They must have dealt with that little bastard and left already.'

With that in mind, he also left the scene shortly after.

The people training at the Endless Beast Den had to stop their training because no more magical beasts spawned, not to mention their situation.

In the blink of an eye, the Endless Beast Den was devoid of people, falling completely silent for the first time in thousands of years.

Meanwhile, after being sucked in by the rift, Yuan found himself in an unfamiliar territory.

"Where…am I?" he muttered in a dazed voice as he surveyed his surroundings.
