Chapter 1595 — Chapter 1595 A Foreign World

After quickly surveying his surroundings, Yuan found himself in the middle of a wilderness filled with oddly shaped, tall trees unlike any he had ever seen before. The sky was an ominous orange with a hint of red, and not a single cloud marred its expanse.

A unique and unmistakable stench of blood filled the air, reminiscent of the battlefield during his time as the Evil God. However, it was not the scent of human blood but that of beasts.

Beastly howls echoed from every direction. In fact, Yuan could sense tens of thousands of magical beasts in the area. Their strength varied greatly, ranging from the level of Spirit Apprentice to the Divine Realm.

"Brother Yuan… where are we?" Xiao Hua came out of his Dantian and asked, her face filled with curiosity and worry. "I have no clue…" Yuan shook his head.

Yu Ning's voice resounded a moment later, "Young Master… I don't know where we are, but this place is so massive that my Divine Sense cannot see all of it. Moreover, I could not find a single human being. This place is filled to the brim with magical beasts. Also…"

"...It appears that many powerful magical beasts are quickly approaching our direction, and they all seem frenzied, like starved beasts." "..."

After a moment of silence, Yuan looked at Xiao Hua and said, "Xiao Hua, return to my Dantian for now."

She nodded and immediately returned to his Dantian before asking, "What about you?"

"This is just my guess, but I think they are likely drawn by my scent—the scent of a human, a rarity in this place that seems to be filled with magical beasts," Yuan speculated.

"You're right about that."

An unfamiliar voice suddenly resounded behind Yuan, startling him.

'What?!'

Like a startled cat, Yuan instantly leaped away and readied himself for combat. However, his eyebrows arched in surprise upon seeing the individual who had just spoken.

Standing right where he had just been was a little girl who appeared even younger than Xiao Hua. She had pitch-black hair that cascaded down her back like a waterfall, reaching the ground. Her eyes were clear and filled with intrigue. Yet, despite her human appearance, she exuded an aura that felt anything but human. Moreover, she was completely naked.

"W-when did she get there? No… how long has she been there? Even now, despite looking at her with my very eyes, I cannot sense her presence, almost as if I am staring at a ghost," Yu Ning exclaimed in a shocked voice.

Yuan narrowed his eyes on the little girl. He also failed to sense her presence, even at this very moment. Fortunately, she didn't appear to be a threat to them for the time being.

"Who are you?" Yuan decided to ask her.

"Are you sure you want to worry about me right now? You'll be dead in a few moments once the others arrive," she said.

Yuan gritted his teeth. The magical beasts approaching them were all in the Divine Realm. Yu Ning also warned him of magical beasts at the level of immortals that were too far for his Divine Sense to pick up.

"Since they're here because of my scent…"

Yuan's aura suddenly surged, and his body began to transform.

The little girl's eyes widened with awe as Yuan entered his dragon form.

"You smell like a dragon now, but you had a vastly different scent just moments ago—one that I have never encountered before. Is this what humans are? I have only heard about your species but never met one," she inquired, her eyes brimming with interest, almost like that of a child visiting the amusement park for the first time.

Hearing her question, Yuan became certain that she was not human.

"Sorry, but I need to leave this place for now…"

Not wanting to wait for the magical beasts to arrive, Yuan used his movement technique and swiftly left the scene.

"..."

The little girl silently stood there.

A few moments later, a red beast resembling a jaguar emerged. Initially, it didn't notice the little girl, but when it finally laid eyes on her, a terrified expression crossed its face, and its body trembled with immense fear.

Without any hesitation, the jaguar turned around and ran away with its tail tucked between its legs.

This scene repeated several more times for the beasts that showed up at her location until the little girl disappeared into thin air like a ghost. Sometime later, after running for days without stopping, Yuan finally came to a halt.

"This should be far enough," he mumbled, feeling relieved that none of the magical beasts chased after him.

He lifted his head to look at the sky, which had remained unchanged despite the passage of many days.

"Just where in the world are we…?" he sighed out loud.

"We're currently at the Enchanted Forest." A calm and familiar voice responded to Yuan's sigh.

"What the—?!" Yuan jumped after being startled again.

His eyes widened with surprise after seeing the little girl had managed to follow him.

'Yu Ning, can you sense her cultivation base…?' he asked.

'No… I cannot sense anything about her… It's like she doesn't even exist,' she quickly replied.

After a moment of silence, Yuan asked the little girl, "Enchanted Forest… where is that in the Nine Heavens?"

The little girl slightly tilted her head and said, "Nine Heavens? I don't know of that place."

"W-we're not even in the Nine Heavens…?" Yuan swallowed nervously after learning this information, though he was not entirely certain of its credibility. After all, it was possible that they were still in the Nine Heavens, but the little girl might not be aware of it.

He looked at the little girl and continued asking, "Then do you know what this world is called?"

"What a weird question," the little girl said. "But I'll entertain you. This world is called the Primal Expanse." "Primal Expanse…?" Yuan repeated in a dazed voice.

'Have you heard of this place? Yu Ning? Xiao Hua?' he asked them.

'No…' they both replied simultaneously.

'Well, I'll be damned…'
