Chapter 1709 — Chapter 1709 True Dragon Awakening

"Honestly, even though I've suppressed my cultivation to match your cultivation, I still have a major advantage against you. Unlike others, I can only weaken my physique so much, not to mention the vast amount of chaotic essence within my body. Suppressing my cultivation doesn't make my chaotic essence magically disappear, either." Long Wu Qing said.

However, Yuan smiled and said, "To be honest, I am still not going all out. It's hard to get rid of habits, unfortunately."

As he finished his sentence, immense killing intent began oozing from Yuan's body, forming two beautiful red and black wings on his back.

Although releasing his killing intent didn't directly enhance his power, it put him in the right mindset to fight seriously.

"My, my. That's some impressive bloodlust. How many people did you have to kill to build up such intense killing intent?" Long Wu Qing showed a somewhat nervous smile after sensing Yuan's killing intent. Despite her experience, she'd never felt such intense killing intent before.

"Who knows? Do you count every single ant you accidentally stepped on?"

Not only did Yuan's aura shift, but his entire demeanor transformed as well, becoming cold and emotionless, almost resembling that of a ruthless, crazed killer.

"Is that the real you?" Long Wu Qing asked out of curiosity.

"It's one of me."

"No matter how much killing intent you show off, it won't change the outcome," she said.

A cold smile crept across Yuan's face as a mask resembling a dragon materialized, similar to the one Long Yejun had worn during their battle. Its fierce design added an even more intimidating edge to his presence.

[True Dragon Awakening!]

Yuan's presence suddenly became several folds stronger.

Sha!

A powerful black-colored sword light flashed when Yuan suddenly swung Number One Under Heaven.

The sword light struck Long Wu Qing's leg, cutting through her scales and skin.

"?!?!"

Long Wu Qing's eyes widened with surprise.

"To think you were still hiding this much power… You sly little bastard," she muttered in a cold voice.

"The true fight starts here, Wu Qing!" Yuan shouted as he lunged at her.

"Is that so?!"

Long Wu Qing's aura increased again right before they clashed. Just like Yuan, she hadn't gone all out until now. However, even when using all of her strength, Long Wu Qing quickly realized that she was still falling behind Yuan, and it was not by a small margin.

'I am losing?! This can't be happening!' Long Wu Qing clenched her jaws in frustration.

Other than the Dragon God, she had never lost to anyone, always dominating her opponents with overwhelming strength. Yet, she now found herself being pushed back by a mere human, something she had never thought was even possible.

[Asura's Blade of Execution!]

Yuan used his chaotic essence to enhance the technique, causing it to emit a vibrant purple aura that radiated with unfathomably destructive energy.

Long Wu Qing sensed her life being threatened for the first time in a long time when she saw the ominous-looking blade in the sky. However, her pride did not allow her to avoid this attack.

Thus, she confronted it with Dragon's Breath.

The Asura's Blade of Execution flew toward Long Wu Qing with terrifying speed, effortlessly slicing through her Dragon's Breath as it made its way toward her.

Upon realizing she couldn't stop the attack, Long Wu Qing was forced to toss aside her pride and attempt to dodge the blade. However, it was a little too late. A massive wound opened up near her chest, but no blood emerged. With full control over her body, Long Wu Qing used her chaotic essence to prevent any blood from leaking.

'What is this feeling? Even though I am losing and getting hurt, it doesn't feel that bad…' Long Wu Qing thought to herself as she quickly healed her wound.

"Still want to continue?" Yuan asked her.

"Are you seriously asking me that?" Once her wound healed, Long Wu Qing charged at Yuan again.

They continued fighting nonstop for the next several days. Every time Long Wu Qing suffered damage, the strange sensation within her grew stronger, becoming more pronounced with each blow she endured.

"I can't believe it… The Unrivaled Tyrant is actually being tossed around by a human…"

"Is it just me, or does she appear to be enjoying it?"

"How is that possible? There's no way she'd enjoy losing when she's always been the one bullying others. She must be feeling humiliated."

"Is that so…?"

Although a few onlookers pointed it out, nobody wanted to believe that Long Wu Qing was enjoying her situation. After all, she was the Unrivaled Tyrant—the uncontrollable monster who has terrorized the Divine Dragon Sanctuary for billions of years.

"More! Harder! I can't get enough of this feeling!" Long Wu Qing could no longer control herself and shouted loudly.

"Huh?" The onlookers stared at her with bewildered looks.

"Who knew getting hurt would feel so good?! Hurt me some more!" Long Wu Qing exclaimed, her expression a mixture of pleasure and pain.

"..."

Yuan was taken aback by Long Wu Qing's sudden shift in behavior, which messed with his momentum greatly.

"Although I've felt pain before, the pain you inflict is different!" Long Wu Qing continued. "I can feel it down to my very bones every time your sword cuts my flesh!"

Long Wu Qing's body could be seen visibly trembling.

"More! More! More!" she shouted, chasing after Yuan, seemingly having lost all desire to continue the fight, driven by an insatiable urge instead.

Yuan also lost his desire to continue fighting after seeing Long Wu Qing in this state. He withdrew his weapons and undid his transformation.

"Let's end it here," he sighed.

"What? No! Let's fight a little longer!" she exclaimed, sounding like a spoiled child who didn't want to leave the amusement park to go home yet.

Yuan rubbed his eyes and said, "We've been fighting for nine days, so we already went over the time limit by two whole days. If you want to continue, you can find somebody else. I have other business to attend to."
