Chapter 2090 — Refining the Heavenly White Tiger’s Blood Essence

"Is it really okay for you to leave them just like that?" Feng Yuxiang questioned after they left. "You should’ve punished the Clan Leader and the elders, even if it’s just a little, since they enabled Bai Xutao’s behavior."

Yuan smiled and said, "Who said I’m leaving?"

"What?" Feng Yuxiang muttered, confusion evident in her voice.

Yuan paused in his tracks and said, "I still have plenty of time before I must return to the Rising Phoenix Clan. I intend to revisit the Heavenly White Tiger Clan before then."

"What are you going to do in the meantime?"

Yuan retrieved the Heavenly White Tiger’s Blood Essence and said, "I’m going to refine this blood essence."

"So we’re going to return to my Immortal Cave right now?"

Yuan shook his head and said, "I have another place in mind, and it’s much closer."

Some time later, they returned to where the Phantasm Serpent’s Nest once existed.

"Isn’t this..."

"I’m going to refine the blood essence in that serpent’s lair," he said.

"In that case, I’ll guard the entrance," said Feng Yuxiang as she emerged from his Dantian to stand guard.

"Thanks."

Yuan dug a small hole and disappeared into the ground.

Once he returned to the underground area with the sealed gate, Yuan spoke to the Outer God on the other side, "I’m going to cultivate here for a bit, so don’t disturb me, or I’ll leave you in there forever."

"..."

No response.

Yuan sat down in the center of the cave and retrieved the Heavenly White Tiger’s Blood Essence a moment later. Once he prepared himself, he removed the seal and poured the blood essence into his mouth.

Upon consuming the blood essence, Yuan unleashed a deafening roar, one that reverberated through the air like the mighty roar of a tiger.

An immense torrent of spiritual energy suddenly surged forth, so powerful that even Yuan struggled to absorb it. The overwhelming flow threatened to tear his body apart, pushing his Dantian to the brink of destruction.

To prevent his body from being overwhelmed, Yuan had no choice but to expend the spiritual energy within him constantly. Fortunately, there was an indestructible gate near him, allowing him to unleash as much spiritual energy as he wanted.

Though the process was agonizing, it was far more manageable than when he had to refine the Primordial Phoenix’s Bloodline.

Time seemed to fly, and before Yuan realized it, half a year had passed since he began refining the Heavenly White Tiger’s Blood Essence.

Yuan opened his eyes, and a faint golden glow radiated from within.

Yuan’s aura instantly shifted, becoming primal and overwhelmingly domineering, like a predator reigning unchallenged at the pinnacle of the food chain.

Half of his jet-black hair turned stark white, manifesting the signature trait of the Heavenly White Tiger.

Beyond the changes in his appearance, his Heavenly Dantian also strengthened, allowing him to absorb spiritual energy twice as fast.

At his current state, it was essentially impossible for Yuan to run out of spiritual energy if he didn’t exhaust all of it in a single attack. Even if he did, it would replenish in the blink of an eye.

Yuan left the underground cave shortly after refining the blood essence and returned to Feng Yuxiang.

"It only took you half a year this time, huh?" she remarked after seeing him in his Heavenly White Tiger transformation.

"Yes. That said, the Heavenly White Tiger’s blood essence wasn’t as strong as the Primordial Phoenix’s."

"Congratulations on your breakthrough. Now, you’re only one level away from reaching True Immortal and catching up to me," said Feng Yuxiang.

"Have you fully recovered your cultivation?" Yuan asked her since her cultivation had remained at the True Immortal level for some time now.

She nodded, "Yes, this was my peak cultivation before I got cursed, but I can feel myself inching toward God Ascension."

"I see..."

"So, are we going to return to the Heavenly White Tiger Clan now?" she then asked.

Yuan nodded.

"Yes, let’s see how much they’ve changed in half a year."

Once Feng Yuxiang entered his Dantian, Yuan made his way back to the Heavenly White Tiger Clan.

"Wow, what happened to your Dantian? It feels so different now," Feng Yuxiang remarked.

"It evolved after I refined the blood essence. It’s a Heavenly Dantian now, whatever that is."

"I’ve also never heard of such a thing," she said.

However, Yu Ning spoke up, "A Heavenly Dantian was a legend during the Primordial Era. It’s said to be a superior Dantian, a concept that has only ever existed in theory. You know how Body Refiners temper their physiques? Some believed they could temper their Dantian, but it was considered incredibly dangerous, as even the slightest mistake could cripple one’s cultivation."

"A legend, huh? Well, it’s no longer just a theory since we’re living in one right now," Feng Yuxiang chuckled.

Some time later, Yuan returned to the Heavenly White Tiger Clan. The place was nearly unrecognizable, having undergone drastic restoration since the devastation he left behind half a year ago.

Yuan activated Shadow Veil, his form fading into the shadows as he silently infiltrated their territory. Once inside, Yuan deactivated Shadow Veil and began wandering the territory in the guise of a Heavenly White Tiger.

Though he had disguised his appearance, he couldn’t change his overwhelming, domineering aura, which immediately drew the attention of everyone nearby, especially the women, who gazed at him with passionate looks on their faces.
