Chapter 2385 — Chapter 2385 True Dragon Chaotic Core

Hearing Yuan's question, the Queen Wraith of Demise spoke as it calmly glared at him, "I don't know what you are, but you're clearly different from those two from the color of your soul, so I took a gamble. If you ran away and refused to help, I would've simply killed you."

"Do you really think you can kill me?" Yuan asked with a slight smile on his face.

"..."

The Queen Wraith of Demise remained silent, but her gaze lacked confidence.

"So, how do you want me to help you?" Yuan then asked.

"I don't care how, but I want you to get rid of this energy," she quickly answered.

"Get rid of that…?" Yuan raised his eyebrows as he looked at the black mountain that was oozing with Chaotic Essence.

He started calculating how long it would take him to absorb all the Chaotic Essence emanating from the black mountain and quickly reached a conclusion.

A thousand years. That's how long he estimated it would take.

"Alright, I'll do my best," Yuan said as he started approaching the black mountain.

Of course, he had no intention of spending the next thousand years absorbing the Chaotic Essence. Instead, he decided to spend a few years absorbing just enough to improve his cultivation and hopefully learn more about True Chaotic Qi.

'My second cultivation is now on par with my main cultivation base, so it would be best to keep them balanced. Instead of increasing my cultivation further, I can use this opportunity to create as many Chaotic Hearts as possible, which will also enhance my overall strength,' Yuan thought to himself as he reached the black mountain.

"What are you going to do?" The Queen Wraith of Demise suddenly asked him from afar, not daring to get too close, even with her vessel.

"You'll see soon," Yuan replied as he flew straight to the very peak of the mountain and sat down.

The Queen Wraith of Demise raised an eyebrow at his puzzling actions, wondering how he intended to deal with the energy this way.

In the very next moment, her eyes widened in shock and disbelief as Yuan began absorbing the energy, just as it had absorbed her children.

'He's absorbing that energy?!' she cried inwardly.

With how much Chaotic Essence he was absorbing, Yuan started forming his third Chaotic Heart within days of his cultivation, completing it just a week later. With how much Chaotic Essence he was absorbing, Yuan started forming his third Chaotic Heart within days of his cultivation, completing it just a week later.

After his Chaotic Dragon Core was strengthened, so did Yuan's speed when absorbing the Chaotic Essence.

Then, two weeks later, he started forming his fourth Chaotic Heart.

Yuan was pleasantly surprised to discover that his Chaotic Dragon Core was capable of evolving, and his anticipation skyrocketed as he wondered how much stronger it would make him.

Three months later—

However, even with his increased cultivation speed, the amount of Chaotic Essence required for each new Chaotic Heart continued to grow, and it still took Yuan half a year to begin forming his fifth Chaotic Heart.

Then, after another year—

'A thousand years? At this rate, I will only need a hundred years to absorb all of the Chaotic Essence!' Yuan laughed inwardly at his rapid progress.

Meanwhile, the Queen Wraith of Demise was utterly stunned by how quickly Yuan was eliminating the energy.

'I don't know how he's doing it, but at this rate, he might really get rid of it!'

She was in total disbelief.

'I was even prepared to dispose of him!'

The Queen Wraith of Demise had never truly expected Yuan to help solve their problem. Yet, against all expectations, he was doing exactly that.

Since the Chaotic Essence got weaker, Supreme Ruler Dena and Lev, who were waiting outside its influence, began moving closer and closer to the black mountain.

"This reminds me of when he purposefully entered the Corruption Shower," Lev suddenly remarked. "This energy turns us into Forsaken, but he seems unaffected by it. I wonder if it has something to do with being a human."

He turned to look at Supreme Ruler Dena and asked, "Just who is that man?"

"A troublemaker," she calmly replied and refused to further elaborate, puzzling Lev even more.

In the blink of an eye, another five years passed, and Yuan just finished his sixth Chaotic Heart.

'Hm? It's evolving again?' Yuan thought to himself.

One year… ten years… twenty years later—

"I can sense True Chaotic Qi more clearly now!" Yuan exclaimed with a look of surprise on his face.
