Chapter 2421 — Chapter 2421 Fighting the Supreme Ancestor

"You! What the hell are you really?!" The Supreme Ancestor shouted at Yuan after seeing the drastic change in his aura.

"I'm… human," Yuan calmly replied.

"Wha—"

The Supreme Ancestor's eyes widened with disbelief, but before he could even process what he heard, Yuan attacked him.

"Did you just say you're a human?!" The Supreme Ancestor questioned, asking for confirmation. "How is that even possible with the gateway to the Divine Heaven sealed? You must be pulling my leg!"

He refused to believe Yuan's claim. After all, Yuan had been messing with him nonstop.

When they clashed again, Yuan's sword no longer shattered after a single exchange, and it endured ten to twelve blows before breaking.

The Supreme Ancestor's spear, meanwhile, remained intact. However, cracks had begun to appear across its surface.

'His prowess increased by this much?! This is my first time seeing someone with two stages of transformation!' The Supreme Ancestor cried inwardly after the clash.

Meanwhile, Yuan was wondering if he could combine three forms into one.

'If I can use two different awakenings at once, what's stopping me from using three—even four at once?'

Without hesitation, Yuan proceeded to test his limitations.

Suddenly, a pair of prismatic, flame-wreathed wings burst from Yuan's back, while his horns were engulfed in the same dazzling, multicolored fire.

"This feels… incredible!" Yuan laughed, each breath spilling out flickers of flame.

"This… damn monster…" The Supreme Ancestor swallowed nervously, struggling to comprehend the unprecedented existence standing before him.

Although Yuan's aura was undeniably terrifying, that alone wasn't what unsettled the Supreme Ancestor.

It was the sheer absurdity of Yuan's existence—like facing a being that could evolve without limit—that filled him with a deep, instinctive unease.

'Why don't I use my Heavenly White Tiger Transformation while I am at it?!'

The mere thought of wielding four forms at once sent a thrill through Yuan, his body trembling with excitement. Yet, the moment he tried, he felt an invisible barrier halt him, preventing him from taking that final step.

'Is three forms my limit now? I guess I'll try again later…' Yuan sighed inwardly.

Though he wasn't certain what conditions he needed to meet to activate more transformations simultaneously, Yuan had a strong feeling that such a feat was not only possible, but it was inevitable.

Yuan turned to look at the Supreme Ancestor, who was waiting to see if he was going to transform any more, and said, "Sorry for the wait."

Yuan activated Blood Manipulation, but this time, it emerged a little different.

A radiant golden aura shimmered around its blade, while silver flames coiled along its length, giving it an otherworldly presence.

"Is that all you've got?! Any tricks left?!" the Supreme Ancestor roared as he clashed with Yuan once more.

The moment their weapons met, a surge of flames erupted from Yuan's blade, instantly engulfing him.

"Damn it! What kind of fire is this?! It won't go out no matter what I do to them!"

To rid himself of the flames, the Supreme Ancestor was forced to tear away his own burning flesh again and again, as he was unable to act quickly enough before the fire spread.

Unwilling to endure such torment in close combat, he immediately shifted tactics, retreating into long-range attacks and unleashing a barrage of bloody techniques from afar.

"Supreme Blood Arts, Endless Crimson Barrage!"

The Supreme Ancestor summoned millions of spear-like projectiles and threw them all in Yuan's direction simultaneously.

To generate blood at a sufficient rate, Yuan drove his hand straight into his own chest, punching a hole into it without hesitation.

From the wound, he drew out his blood in a grotesque yet controlled manner, harvesting it directly from his own body.

Then, using that blood, he erected a crimson barrier around himself, shielding his body from the relentless barrage, each projectile carrying enough power to slay a Cultivation God.

However, midway through the assault, Yuan's eyes flickered with a sudden resolve. Without warning, he dismissed the barrier, allowing the Supreme Ancestor's attacks to strike him head-on.

This greatly puzzled the Supreme Ancestor, but he had no issues with Yuan willingly stepping into his own grave.

The projectiles tore into him without mercy, riddling his body with countless holes, destroying his flesh faster than it could regenerate.

However, even when his entire body was reduced to nothing, with every cell annihilated, Yuan did not die.

In the very next instant, he regenerated, his body restored in perfect condition as though he had never been harmed at all.

"What in Demon God's name? How did he survive even after his heart was completely annihilated?!" the Supreme Ancestor exclaimed, disbelief etched across his face.

By 'heart,' he was referring to the crystal embedded within Yuan's chest—the very core that served as a demon's greatest weakness.

While some powerful demons like the Supreme Ancestor could survive having their heart shattered into many pieces, not even he would survive having his heart completely annihilated.

"I told you why already. It's because I am human!"

"Can it really be…? Is he really a human from the Divine Heavens?" The Supreme Ancestor wondered to himself aloud.

Yuan suddenly turned his head, his gaze snapping toward a distant direction where another battle raged.

He had been so focused on his clash with the Supreme Ancestor that he had all but forgotten about the confrontation between Supreme Ruler Grant and Supreme Ruler Dena.

"I expected it to be intense… but to erase half the city this quickly…"

While his own battle with the Supreme Ancestor had already devastated the surroundings and reshaped the terrain, it was nothing compared to the destruction caused by the two Supreme Rulers, where entire sections of the city, along with the very ground beneath them, had been utterly vaporized.

Yuan shifted his gaze back to the Supreme Ancestor, a faint smile tugging at his lips.

"Let's not let them steal all the spotlight," he said calmly. "Shall we go all out, too?"
