Chapter 724 — Surpassing the Ancient Devil Stage

Everyone in the Cosmic Universe was affected by the repeated deaths of the Will of the World.

Yet if one had to say who was affected the most, it would be none other than Liora.

The moment the second blood rain appeared, the crimson cloud outside the universe rapidly faded away, as did the black lightning that had been peeking out from within its depths.

The next instant, a towering structure materialized above Liora and enveloped her.

It was a scale, only a few miles long yet seemingly larger than the universe itself.

Two weights extended from each side of it, each containing several lights.

As soon as it formed, Liora found herself standing on one of these sides, surrounded by a colorful brilliance.

As for the other, it was currently empty. No figure stood there.

Without giving the onlookers a chance to comprehend this scene’s meaning, a deafening boom suddenly rang out.

The scale exploded.

The lights on the other weight seemed confused before they finally sensed their target. They rushed toward Liora.

Before she could react, they seamlessly merged with her body.

A crimson, chaotic light fused with her demonic energy.

A transcendent, illusory light followed her connection with her Throne and moved onto the River of Time. Along with it came several other bizarre lights, each representing a different concept.

There were many others as well.

Some contained physical strength. Others statuses or authorities.

Every single one of them was extraordinary.

Among them all, however, two stood out.

One fused directly into Liora’s soul space, transforming into a stream of memories.

The other was the only one that did not enter Liora’s body.

It floated before her for several seconds before squirming and taking a material form.

Transforming into a crown, it settled onto her head.

At that moment, the entire Cosmic Universe shook violently yet again.

The world cheered!

A new Will of the Cosmic Universe had been born!

...And unlike the one before it, this one did not die immediately!

--

Liora’s mind was flooded with a torrent of information.

Millions of years of memories were forcefully stuffed into her mind, flashing in front of her in the form of moving images.

The protagonist of these images was none other than a young man she could recognize—the Hollow Ancestor.

They followed his journey from his birth to his rise and, finally, to his death.

Liora was powerful, especially following her practice of the Primordial Sin Art and the devouring of the Information World.

Yet faced with so many memories, even she found it difficult to digest them all.

In the end, she could only seal most of them, focusing on digesting the most important ones for the time being.

What happened outside the Cosmic Universe soon replayed in her mind.

Liora witnessed three beings struggling endlessly against the black lightning, using trump card after trump card to seek a chance for survival.

Unfortunately, they ultimately failed.

The first to fall was the Will of the Cosmic Universe. Being outside its world, its strength had declined significantly.

Following it was surprisingly the "Human Emperor."

Although mysterious and powerful in his previous life, he had only just been reborn. Most of the faith sustaining his existence had been burned to help him suppress Liora.

In the end, only the Hollow Ancestor remained, mostly due to the preparations he had made for facing the Tribulation.

With everyone else dead, the Hollow Ancestor had won.

He had managed to achieve his goal, gaining control over the Cosmic Universe.

Unfortunately, the Demon World’s Tribulation would not show any mercy to celebrate his achievements.

Sensing his increase in strength, it didn’t slow down but grew even more rapid and powerful.

The outcome of this was already clear.

The Hollow Ancestor had perished!

Not under Liora’s hands, as one would have expected upon their arrival in this world, but under the power of the Demon World.

Although she had already foreseen this, Liora was still stunned for a brief moment.

She had always regarded the Hollow Ancestor as her greatest enemy.

Even when other, more powerful opponents emerged, the importance she placed on him did not decrease at all.

Yet now, that enemy had perished without her needing to do anything.

Liora was certain of this.

The appearance of the scale and the lights had already confirmed the Hollow Ancestor’s death and the completion of their agreement.

She had obtained everything this Ancient Devil possessed, whether it was his memories, his concepts, or even the imprints he had left on the River of Time.

Liora could sense this clearly.

Her strength had transformed once more.

She even showed signs of advancing further, surpassing the Other Shore and reaching the Antiquity stage.

Unfortunately, something was holding her back. A flaw still existed in her timeline, making her advancement impossible.

Liora did not care.

Aside from the possessions the Hollow Ancestor already possessed, there was also one more important thing she was carrying at the time of his death.

Liora lightly reached out and took the crown off her head.

It was black, seemingly made out of thorns, but looked ordinary and unassuming.

Yet she understood very well that this was far from the truth.

She knew exactly what the crown in her hands represented.

The authority of the Cosmic Universe!

With this item in her possession, she had become the Will of the Cosmic Universe.

The moment that thought arose, Liora poured her consciousness into the crown.

Her vision rapidly shifted. The world around her changed.

For a brief second, Liora’s consciousness seemed to have integrated with the entire Cosmic Universe.

The instant she did, both her perception and her strength changed.

Everything she looked at no longer held any secrets from her.

Her strength soared, far beyond her imagination.

Other Shore. Antiquity. Primordial. Absolute Beginning.

These were the four substages an Ancient Devil had to go through to advance further, each more powerful than the last.

Although Liora was only at the Other Shore stage, her many advantages and the Cosmic Sea gave her the confidence to contend with Primordial Ancient Devils.

Yet even so, compared to the power she could wield in her current state, that little strength was nothing.

A term subconsciously surfaced in Liora’s mind.

Princess of the Demon World!
