Chapter 1111 — Book 2: Chapter 308: Eccentric Power (3)

Steal, flip over, and beat up!
The meeting room filled with silence as soon as he said that.
The Heavenly Demon was the first to speak.
“What are we stealing?”
“The item that turned this world into the current state.”
Zhuge Mi Ryeo, Rosalyn, and King Dennis started to take notes as soon as Cale answered.
“The flipping over?”
The Heavenly Demon asked again and Cale recalled the conversation he had with the World Tree as he answered.
King Dennis and Wiesha reacted to that statement.
“Then the entire continent will fall back into chaos-”
Cale raised his hand to stop the concerned Wiesha.
“The foundation of this world and the World Tree will cooperate to stop that as much as possible.”
Weird phenomena happened all around the continent during the cataclysmic period.
Quite a lot of places were damaged as a result.
This was the reason Cale went to meet the World Tree.
He recalled that conversation.
‘Instead of dealing with the reference point after stopping the Dragon Lord, mess with the reference point first?’
‘Yeah.’
‘Mm. Hey World Tree. What do you think?’
Cale looked around while seeing the World Tree and the foundation of this world converse.
The vast field was covered in small but beautiful wildflowers.
There was a flower tree located at the center of the field.
He raised his head to see that the sky was full of the radiant five colors of light that was shining down on the tree and the field.
Cale, a young boy, and a long-haired girl were seated in the shade underneath the flower tree.
Cale had closed his eyes to converse with the World Tree and ended up at this place.
The young boy, the World Tree, gently smiled after making eye contact with Cale.
‘We were able to create a dimension like this thanks to the Dragon Lord.’
The chains in the dimension the Dragon Lord had created were destroyed.
The World Tree filled the inside of that dimension with itself and the foundation of this world.
‘Indeed. That is the reason I can have a relaxed conversation with the World Tree and our Angel-nim.
Sniff sniff.’
The foundation of this world started to sniffle.
‘Seriously. I'm so touched. The Angel-nim is like the personification of that emotion.’
The eyes that were looking up at Cale through his long hair were full of tears.
Cale looked unsettled and the young boy noticed and quickly continued to speak.
‘If the reference point is unable to fulfill its duty, weird phenomena will definitely happen around the entire continent and the aura will roar.’
‘Sniff. That’s right, chaos will fill the land.’
Cale’s expression did not change and the other two took turns answering.
‘You can't stop the aura. However, we are able to suppress the phenomenon to a degree or figure out the location of occurrence in advance.’
The World Tree spoke first.
‘I think I can suppress the aura as much as possible as well.’
The foundation of this world looked toward the World Tree.
‘Because I am not alone.’
Originally, Cale was supposed to plant the new seed of the World Tree once he was done with things. Now that the foundational World Tree had returned to its spot…
The foundation of this world was at a point where it was one step easier to recover its powers.
‘As long as the World Tree is here, we at least don’t need to worry about how the flow of the world will go.’
Cale crossed his arms as if he was deep in thought and asked.
‘Then if the aura of the world goes wild, could there be some existences that are harmed?’
The World Tree contemplated for a moment before answering.
‘Well, we don’t know what kind of situations will arise when the aura is all mixed up and messed up. If there are individuals who use mana or aura…’
The young boy could not finish his sentence.
‘Is it possible?’
The World Tree and the foundation of this world looked toward Cale.
Cale calmly explained himself.
‘During the last cataclysmic period, the Dragons turned the aura to make it more advantageous for themselves, but… A new cataclysmic period would be something even they would not have expected. Wouldn’t it turn into chaos for both allies and enemies?’
Cale smiled.
‘…The Angel-nim is smiling!’
The foundation of this world started to smile as well.
The young boy slowly turned his gaze as he spoke.
‘…I'll stop the weird phenomenon as much as possible to decrease the damage to the normal existences in the world. I'll also inform the Elves about the locations of the weirdness so that they can evacuate or defend against any damage.’
The Elves who had been with Wiesha… As well as the Elves who followed the Grand Elder and Inquisitor 3, Elza, had returned to the World Tree.
‘Yes. Yes.’
Cale spoke to the two figures who could be called the foundation of Aipotu.
‘No less and no more. Let’s just try to do our best for just one hour. You got that?’
The foundation and the World Tree, who became oddly scared while looking at Cale's elegant smile, vigorously nodded their heads.
Cale pushed away the memory of the two existences, who looked younger than Lock despite him not knowing their true ages, and looked at the Heavenly Demon.
‘The flipping over?’
Cale had to answer his question.
“When the cataclysmic period returns…”
Cale looked around the meeting room.
He could see the respective leaders.
He also thought about the groups that followed them despite not being here.
Wiesha… The Beast people and other races under her…
Haru Kingdom's King Dennis… The humans of the other kingdoms cooperating with him…
Axion, the Third Saint Dragon. The people following him.
Then the Heavenly Demon, Zhuge Mi Ryeo, Sima Jung, and the others. The martial artists of the Central Plains who would soon follow them here.
Finally, Cale's group of people.
“Once that happens, mana and aura will fluctuate significantly, suddenly getting stronger or decreasing exponentially. It would feel like an endlessly charging wave.”
It would be total chaos.
Gulp.
Someone gulped.
It was King Dennis.
Cale looked at him, smiled, and continued to speak.
“Basically, the mana and aura users will be facing serious issues.”
The Purple Bloods and their allies…
“Our enemies will be in quite the trouble.”
The mages and aura users would not be able to use their powers properly.
"Well, regardless of the reason, tying down the Dragons’ mana and only making them use their attributes would be beneficial to us.”
And…
Cale looked over his allies once more.
"We are less affected by aura and mana.”
He then asked the Heavenly Demon.
“Isn't that the case?”
The Heavenly Demon extended his hand out instead of speaking.
Ooooooooong-
Dark red aura wrapped around his hand.
“We use internal ki.”
The power used by the martial artists who came over from the Central Plains was internal ki that they had gathered in their bodies.
Of course, they would need to use their respective methods to fill up their internal ki once they used it all up, but…
“Yeah, we just need to last for one hour like that.”
It was doable if it was not for a long time.
The White Snake Wiesha spoke at that moment.
"That sounds great. If all else fails, we all just fight with our bodies.”
Her face looked cold despite the smile.
The Beast people could not properly go berserk yet, but it wouldn't be a bad battlefield.
Cale looked at his friends.
Mary, Tasha… Most of them had their own domains, so they were not influenced much by mana or aura.
But Rosalyn, Choi Han, Clopeh, and some of the others…
"There is a way, so it doesn’t matter, Cale-nim.”
Choi Han had his path so it was fine.
“It sounds fun.”
Clopeh had learned how to handle dead mana.
Smile.
Rosalyn smiled as well.
Cale looked toward Eruhaben.
“Don’t worry.”
The ancient Dragon smiled confidently.
He, who was here as the representative of the Dragons on Cale's side, spoke to the martial artists and their allies.
“We will keep the Dragon Lord tied down.”
Cale and Eruhaben looked at each other.
‘Myself, Mila, Sheritt-nim, and Axion. The four of us is enough.’
‘The Lord’s heart.’
The ancient Dragon had assured Cale.
‘We will set it up so that you can properly pierce it one time.’
Eruhaben accepted it.
‘The Dragon Lord. His time ability is something I cannot see, so it could really be close to the power of a god.’
That was why the Dragons had to use everything they had to face him.
The time to keep the Dragon Lord tied down and pierce his heart…
“But taking the Lord’s life…”
Piercing his heart…
“Cale Henituse. You will have to do it.”
Aipotu. While the aura of a world was roaring…
The person who would be impacted the least was Cale Henituse, who already had nature inside of his body. Yes, it was him.
In that instant of chaos…
Cale would be even closer to being a god than the Dragon Lord.
– Don’t worry.
Cale smiled while listening to the Sky Eating Water.
He addressed the Dragons.
“Please just set it up properly, Eruhaben-nim.”
* * *
Once the meeting was over, all of the allies quickly moved to do their respective tasks or to inform their groups about what was to happen.
"Tomorrow, no, it is today now. It will be early in the morning today.”
Now that it had passed midnight…
Now that the new day had started…
There was less than seven hours till the plan commenced.
Nobody asked why it was so rushed.
“Three times.”
Cale looked out the window.
He did not see a pillar of light.
“Since he called the Dragons, the Dragon Lord has used his magic three more times.”
Cale, Raon, and the Dragon half-blood were the only ones to notice.
Of course, this information had been given to some of the individuals in advance.
“Furthermore, the waiting period in between uses is getting shorter.”
He was using the magic faster and faster.
It was done so that the creatures of the continent would not know.
What kind of spell could it be?
‘I have a bad feeling about it.’
Cale felt unsettled that the back of his head kept feeling cold.
It was the reason he decided to do things as quickly as possible.
King Dennis came over to Cale as people started to leave.
“I will see you on the battlefield later.”
Cale looked past Dennis’s shoulder to his seat.
The seat next to the King's was empty.
Emperor Alt of the Holy Empire…
That bastard ended up going to the Dragon Lord.
Alt and some of the Kings chose the Dragon Lord despite hearing that this world would be destroyed.
‘Did he introduce them to the virtual reality?’
He had no idea of what convinced them to side with the Dragon Lord.
“We will stop the humans.”
King Dennis looked determined as he spoke.
There were a lot more kingdoms that had sided with King Dennis.
Cale should be able to leave the fight between humans to them.
“I will trust you, your Majesty.”
Dennis nodded his head with a solemn look on his face at Cale's comment and left.
Cale watched him leave as someone approached him.
It was the Tang Clan's Tang Yu.
She approached without any emotions visible on her face and asked in a low voice.
“It should be okay to use poison, right?”
Poison being spread when mana and aura could not be used…
Tang Yu’s eyes were bloodshot after having lost half of her family.
“Dragons are living beings in the end. Poison works on everyone. Shouldn’t I at least make them bleed as much as my family has bled?”
Cale silently nodded his head.
Tang Yu bowed her head as if to thank him before departing.
“Mm. Is it your turn now, Miss Rosalyn?”
Rosalyn was the last to approach him.
“Hoo hoo. You sure are busy.”
Rosalyn gently smiled and stopped talking for a moment.
Cale nonchalantly asked her a question.
“It’s disappointing, isn't it?”
“…Haaa.”
She sighed before nodding her head.
“It is. I had something prepared but it looks like I will not be able to use it properly.”
The fact that they could not properly use the thing that she and the Magic Tower had prepared…
And the fact that Rosalyn had realized that she was weak…
She felt frustrated for many reasons.
“But there is still a lot to be done. I need to work hard.”
Cale quietly watched Rosalyn answer energetically before checking that they were the only two in the meeting room as he opened his mouth.
“Miss Rosalyn. It is possible that the amount of things for you to do will increase significantly.”
Rosalyn thought that Cale was trying to console her and smiled even bigger at his shabby consolation.
"That’s true. I need to get stronger and find my own path to create a domain-”
“No. That’s not what I'm talking about.”
Cale was being serious.
“Miss Rosalyn.”
“Yes.”
His expression made Rosalyn turn serious as well.
Cale quietly looked at her before speaking.
"Do you know the major rules of a hero's party?”
“…Excuse me?”
“I'm talking about the hero's friends.”
“…Excuse me?”
“Putting aside the hero, who is a swordsman… There’s the tanker, healer, and, although it seems to be the most useless, the person in charge of all the miscellaneous tasks.”
Cale pointed at Rosalyn.
"Then there is the mage.”
Cale nodded his head.
"That is the basics.”
‘Simple is best.
Fundamentals had their reasons.’
Cale had to find a hero in the ‘Raising my very own precious omnipotent god’ game, but he was also thinking about who would be the hero’s friends.
‘Because it is likely that the hero is a game user.’
It was highly likely that it was a completely unrelated general user.
That was why he had no choice but to think about the hero's friends.
Especially the mage.
That position seemed best not being filled by a general game user or an NPC but someone who could understand him well.
“That’s right. The mage, the greatest mage I know is-”
No matter how he looked at it…
“It’s you, Miss Rosalyn.”
Cale mumbled to himself and kept nodding his head while Rosalyn looked at Cale with an odd look on her face.
"Am I really the greatest mage?”
Cale answered without even a second of hesitation.
“Of course. Who else would it be?”
The answer was too obvious for him to have any hesitations.
“Ha, hahaha-”
Rosalyn started to laugh.
It was quite a boisterous laugh.
She laughed for a while before speaking to Cale.
“The hero is you, young master Cale, no, you said a swordsman. Then is it Choi Han?”
“No. It is not Choi Han and I have to find the hero. Honestly speaking, the hero might be a mage instead of a swordsman. In that case, that would decrease the amount of things you have to do, Miss Rosalyn.”
“I see. If that happens, I won't be participating I guess.”
Rosalyn nodded her head despite not knowing the whole picture.
She just needed to understand the things he had said.
Cale communicated very well with Rosalyn for this reason.
"Then what will you be doing, young master Cale?”
‘He doesn’t seem like he would be the tanker or the healer.’
“…Mm, is it the miscellaneous task?”
Rosalyn looked baffled.
‘Is this guy really looking at himself so lowly again?’
Of course, she knew that miscellaneous tasks were not easy and were, at times, harder, but…
‘Miscellaneous tasks with that feeble body of his?
Can he even do it?’
As Rosalyn looked as if she couldn’t believe it…
Cale calmly answered.
“Ah. For your reference, I am, mm-”
However, he could not finish his sentence.
‘How can I tell her that I am a hidden boss?!’
Cale just smiled.
“I am a secret.”
“You have your scamming smile on your face/”
“!”
Cale’s pupils started to shake and Rosalyn laughed before slowly heading toward the meeting room door.
“Anyway, please let me know whenever you need my help. I think I will be able to find the path to grow if I go around with you, young master Cale.”
Rosalyn then left the meeting room.
Her face slowly stiffened as she walked past the hallway toward the Black Castle.
Even if she felt a bit better after chatting with Cale…
‘You are the greatest mage I know, Miss Rosalyn.’
Wasn’t it bad if the greatest was only at this level?
Rosalyn, who had believed that she could use magic at the level of Dragons, had realized something.
Dragons had their attribute even if they didn't have mana.
‘As for me-’
It was just magic.
Rosalyn faced her subordinate mage walking toward her.
The negative emotions all disappeared from her face.
She opened her mouth as usual.
“How is it?”
“There is no progress yet.”
“But still keep looking. No. Let’s go right now. I will check too.”
The large wide range spell used by the Dragon Lord…
She had not seen the spell and had not even felt the flow of mana…
If it was a large-scale spell…
‘There are bound to be traces left behind.’
Rosalyn was working on finding them.
Of course, she had not told the others about it.
‘He said that the World Tree and the other Dragons were doing it.’
It was highly unlikely that Rosalyn would find the traces that all of them had not been able to find until now.
However, Rosalyn trusted her mana adaptability and affinity, which made her look for the traces just in case.
‘Honestly speaking, I have nothing to do.’
Even finding the smallest of clues and telling Cale about it would be helpful to him.
Rosalyn had no thoughts about resting.
* * *
“Huuuuu.”
Cale let out a deep sigh.
The plan had started.
The place where the Dragon Lord had made his calling…
The Purple Bloods and his subordinates had gathered there.
“A large-scale teleportation magic circle-”
The allies moved to it.
They decided to strike their enemies first.
Boom. Boom.
Cale could feel his heart beating wildly.
He closed his eyes for a moment before opening them back and looked forward.
“I guess we are really going like this?”
His low voice made the group going with him nod their heads.
"This is the greatest combination!”
Raon shouted energetically.
“This is perfect for looting! We've looted everything until now!”
“Meeeeeeeeeeow! That’s right, nya!”
"We've yet to fail.”
“…….”
Beyond Hong and On to the smiling Choi Han…
The combination of Cale, the children averaging ten-years-old, and Choi Han.
This group had never failed to loot a place.
That was why Cale chose the safe route for this.
“Raon. Let’s go.”
“Sounds great!”
Ooooooong-
The black light shot up and activated the teleportation magic circle.
As their allies went to attack the enemy territory…
Cale and the thieves…
Paaaat-!
Headed to a forest near Dragon Lord Neo's lair.
Boom boom.
His heart was running wild.
The Sound of the Wind's voice reached Cale.
– Ah, this is thrilling. Is it over there?
They could see a place that looked like a regular Hunter's house in the lush forest.
“Human, let’s go loot, no, let’s go destroy the reference point!”
Cale and the thieves had come to loot Dragon Lord Neo's home.
