Chapter 1120 — Book 2: Chapter 317: I'll do it (4)

Baaaaaang- baaaaang!
Even while Mila and Rasheel were continuously sending attacks, Eruhaben faced off against Dragon Lord Neo and recalled what he had to do.
‘Heavenly Demon. And Clopeh Sekka.’
The two of them should have entered the enemy’s castle.
‘They said they sent scouts to figure out what the Dragon Lord was doing.’
Mila had told him what she had heard from Rosalyn.
‘And we still haven’t heard anything from Cale's side.
In that case-
I need to take as long as possible.’
“Huuuuuu.”
Eruhaben let out a deep breath.
He needed to calm himself.
‘Yeah. This bastard is someone who has carried on an attribute.’
The patriarch of the Purple Bloods.
They were believed to have carried down time related attributes for generations.
‘This bastard’s weakness is clear, but…
The power that uses that attribute reaches the level of gods.
No.
They said he is basically a god already.’
It was just that his body was weak. The power within this Dragon was at the level of the gods.
‘Yeah. Let’s not forget that.’
“Huuuuu.”
Eruhaben let out another deep breath.
‘Let's calm down.’
He needed to be cautious.
The Dragon Lord started to speak at that moment.
“Cale Henituse.”
Eruhaben looked toward the Dragon Lord.
The Dragon Lord looked fine other than looking a bit fatigued.
His purple eyes were staring at Eruhaben.
Shh.
He waved his hand and the enemies all stopped moving and looked at Neo.
Even the Dragons did that.
Swooooooosh-
The only things moving were the green wind and the golden whirlwind Eruhaben had created.
Even Mila and Rasheel, whose jobs were to drag things out, stopped attacking once they saw the enemies had stopped.
Dragon Lord Neo opened his mouth to break the silence where only the sounds of the wind could be heard.
“Your identities have been figured out.”
The Transparent Bloods, Purple Bloods, and Five Colors Bloods. The Divine World centered around the God of Chaos and the Demon World centered around the current Demon King.
Those places know about us.
Eruhaben responded with a single word.
“So?”
So what?
“I guess you did not step up to hide your identity.”
Neo looked relaxed.
Eruhaben was curious to know about Neo's inner thoughts.
This relaxed demeanor reminded him of Cale Henituse.
It was something only someone who had everything prepared could show.
Eruhaben's breathing started to get rough again.
‘Slowly.’
He heard Neo's voice again.
"Why are you serving a human?”
‘Yes. Slowly fight this bastard and drag things out.
Ignore him if he says anything to annoy you.
He is not an opponent I can defeat.’
Neo.
Although this bastard’s physical body had supposedly reached its limit, he continued to use his time attribute.
As such, Eruhaben needed to be wary.
‘It is highly likely that we will be in a bad situation the moment that bastard uses time.’
Eruhaben did the best to suppress the emotions he felt about this mysterious enemy.
Neo spoke calmly.
“I heard what you guys had to say. You said we don’t have any pride as Dragons?
Pfft.”
Neo chuckled and spoke relaxedly.
“In my eyes, you are the one lacking the qualifications to be a Dragon.”
‘Yes.
Calmly.’
Eruhaben clenched his eyes shut.
Neo continued to speak.
“You have no desire whatsoever to develop the power you were born with and to continue forward. Seeing you just use what you have and live like a frog in a well-”
Neo was truly calm.
“It truly is not cool.”
Eruhaben tried to breathe calmly before…
“Huuuu.”
He took in a deep breath.
"Ah, I can’t help it.”
His body quickly shot forward like the wind.
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang!
He swung his fist at Neo.
There was a loud explosion.
Craaaaaaack-
The purple shield in front of Neo cracked.
The one responsible for making the crack…
Eruhaben's fist had white gold dust swirling around it.
‘Yes, calmly.’
He tried to do this calmly.
‘Because my job is to buy time.’
That was why he did some breathing and tried to calm himself.
Otherwise, he felt like his eyes would roll over and he would fight without thinking about anything else.
He felt like he could only feel relaxed if he pummeled the bastard in front of him.
“I'm sorry.”
He spoke to Neo inside the shield.
“Maybe it is because I rejuvenated, but my temper is back to how it was in my younger days.”
He thought that his temper had calmed after living over 1,000 years, but…
The water in the pot must have been some superb medicine as he got closer to his younger self as time went by.
"But it can't be helped.”
Yes. It could not be helped.
"The least cool bastard dares to talk to a great and mighty Dragon like me about being cool?”
He really had tried to hold back.
But it could not be helped.
Swoooooooosh-
The white gold dust created an even greater whirlwind and started to shoot up into the air.
“I really did try my best to hold back and fight until that punk Cale got here, but…”
It was because the enemy in front of him was not someone he could defeat alone.
Honestly speaking, everybody here would need to charge at the Dragon Lord together to defeat this bastard while minimizing the damage to their allies.
‘But what?
Lacking the qualifications to be a Dragon?’
Swoooooooosh-
Eruhaben moved away from Neo.
Only the empty area existed between the two Dragons.
“…….”
However, Neo's eyebrow slightly raised.
His peaceful face now showed a single wrinkle.
“Mm.”
Rasheel, who had been watching, subconsciously gulped.
There were no loud noises or explosions.
However, Rasheel’s arm got chills for the first time.
“Huuuuuu.”
He let out a breath.
This fear was hard to resist without doing that.
"Whether it is that Lord or the old fart, they're all crazy.”
Dragon Lord Neo. His Dragon Fear started to fill the area.
Eruhaben's Dragon Fear was at the same level.
Eruhaben's Dragon Fear, which had started to fill the area before Neo's, was different from the Dragon Fear that Eruhaben had used before to cast spells.
“He looks serious.”
Rasheel could not say anything else.
‘How scary.’
Cale Henituse. It was different from that bastard’s aura, but Eruhaben's fear was scary as well.
Dragon Lord Neo. That bastard’s Dragon Fear also seemed to carry a powerful level of Dominance, but…
‘Yeah. Neo, even that bastard’s fear carries immense power and presence.’
Eruhaben's did not have that much power of presence.
However, it was sticky.
It was scary and gritty.
‘Crazy old fart.’
Eruhaben.
‘What kind of life has that ancient Dragon lived?’
Fear.
As the name implied, this Dragon’s aura was carrying fear.
No.
‘Is it murderous intent?’
The will to truly kill was in his aura.
As he looked at this Dragon that had lived for over 1,000 years… Rasheel could finally feel the length of time this Dragon had lived.
Dragon Lord Neo.
This guy’s attribute was time, but…
Someone who had lived an even longer time than that guy… Was Eruhaben.
Mila quietly mumbled to Rasheel who finally figured that out.
“I said that we should calmly go at this because we need to buy time.”
She sounded concerned but there was a level of anticipation in her voice. Rasheel subconsciously looked at Mila and the two of them made eye contact.
One corner of Mila’s lips curled up as she spoke.
“Take a look. Your attribute is Indomitability. You’ll be able to learn a lot while looking at Mr. Eruhaben.”
For some reason, Rasheel could not say that this rejuvenated Dragon and his attribute were different.
It was at that moment.
“Ha, haha-”
Eruhaben started to laugh.
Oooooo-
The murderous intent that reacted to him, his Dragon Fear, started to spread.
“Ugh.”
The enemies on the castle wall groaned but Eruhaben was only looking at Neo.
He was so angry he couldn't really see anything.
“I haven’t put in any effort and am a frog in a well. That is why I am lacking the qualifications?”
‘Seriously.’
“This bullshit is so absurd it’s not even funny.”
His attribute was dust.
Eruhaben’s youth had been a struggle after gaining his attribute.
He defeated the Dragons who looked down on him and worked his ass off to become an existence that nobody could ignore.
Even as he did that…
“I never desired something that belonged to others. I also did not take it away.”
‘Unlike you.’
The meaning in Eruhaben’s eyes were clear as he looked at Neo.
“There was no need to do so.”
Why do you need to take someone else’s thing? Why did you need to take the foundation of the world?
Why did you need to carry on the dreadful karma of the Hunters and inherit that power?
“Because I, I could do it all by myself.”
That was why Dragons were great and mighty.
No, they were truly lucky.
“A well?
Pfft.”
Eruhaben scoffed.
Oooooooong- ooooooong-
Eruhaben's fear became even grittier as if reacting to him.
“Yes. Maybe it is possible that I have always lived in a well.”
But so what?
“But I have still yet to reach the bottom of my well.”
Even after living over 1,000 years, Eruhaben still did not know the limit of his power.
Because-
“Because I am learning.”
Even without taking or stealing…
There was so much to learn.
And in the process of learning, his well became deeper to the point that he could not see the bottom.
Yes. Dragons were born with a lot of things.
Long life, talent, intelligence, and a strong physical body.
All those things made it so that Dragons could learn and understand things well.
How lucky was that?
His self-righteous personality allowed him to learn a lot of things as he lived for over 1,000 years and also to be thankful to that luck.
“In my eyes, you are the one lacking the qualifications to be a Dragon.”
Honestly speaking, Eruhaben had been angry since he saw the situation in Aipotu.
A Dragon, a great and mighty Dragon, destroyed a world like this?
Because of his own greed?
That was why he needed to take some deep breaths once he saw Neo.
His job was to drag things out and buy some time, not fight.
That was why he held back and held back some more, but…
He could not hold back any longer.
Neo.
What this bastard said was not just talking shit about Eruhaben.
‘Goldie gramps! I am very good at whatever I learn!’
‘…I still can’t use my attribute. That is a big concern.’
The Black Dragon…
Eruhaben thought of the young Dragon that was learning everything from him at his old age and realized it.
This was something he could not hold back about.
That was why-
“I'm going to have to fuck up that mouth of yours.”
He was apologetic to Cale, but…
‘Yes. Let’s go wild.
The others will take care of the rest.’
“Ha.”
Neo let out a short sigh-like laugh.
“How annoying.”
Eruhaben smiled after seeing the pitying gaze in Neo's eyes.
Everybody had looked at him the same way when he earned his attribute of dust.
However, nobody looked at him that way after that.
‘Because I proved myself.’
Oooooo— oooooo–!
The fear did not spread any farther.
Eruhaben floated in the air and quietly looked at Neo.
Neo also floated up into the air and got on the same level as Eruhaben.
‘I'm sure he will use time.’
This bastard will use his attribute, time.
He will aim for my neck and I will have no idea.
Eruhaben laughed because he knew that would happen.
“Hooooo. You’re going to use magic instead of using your attribute right away?”
Shh—
Purple mana started to rise around Neo.
Eruhaben also used mana as if to respond to him.
Swooooooosh-
Golden dust started to spread out in all directions.
Nobody dared to open their mouths as the two Dragons squared off against each other.
Their scary auras continued to suppress the area.
They could only watch the two Dragons’ battle.
“Tsk.”
The moment Neo clicked his tongue…
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang!
The purple mana and the white gold mana clashed.
“Ugh!”
Rasheel subconsciously clutched at his ears.
The impact was formidable.
He then gasped.
“Ho.”
Nothing exploded.
Both the purple and the white gold light disappeared once they learned the loud noise.
They had consumed each other and disappeared.
That had happened in that short instant.
Furthermore, it had happened while not harming their respective allies at all.
“…….”
At the same time, Neo's suffocating fear was spreading its evil crutches at Rasheel and the Black Castle.
But it could not do anything more than that.
Although they could not see it…
There was a sticky and scary murderous intent that was stopping it.
A battle between real experts was neither chaotic nor noisy.
It was just suffocating.
Eruhaben waved his hand again in the suffocation.
Neo did the same.
Purple mana and white gold mana shot out toward each other again and Eruhaben scowled in that instant.
He had no idea when this bastard would use his attribute.
‘Do I need to use the thing I prepared?
Or do I keep this up a bit longer?
What should I-’
– Goldie gramps!
It was at that moment.
Eruhaben heard a bright voice.
“!”
Neo stopped attacking.
The moment his gaze turned around toward his castle…
– Gramps! We did it!
Eruhaben was far away but he definitely saw it.
One of the windows in a terrace of the enemy castle opened and he saw a chubby young Dragon waving his chubby front paw.
He also saw the unlucky bastard smiling crookedly behind him.
– The human says to start!
– By the way, I told my mom as well!
“Ha.”
Eruhaben laughed.
Ooooooooo—
He could sense the anger in Neo's Dragon Fear.
“I guess your plan went awry?”
The Dragon Lord scowled and the moment Eruhaben saw Neo's eyes move away from him…
Screeeech-
Eruhaben heard a door opening behind him.
– Gramps, the human says we should take care of things right away! I told my mom as well!
Eruhaben ended up laughing.
Boom.
The gate of the Black Castle opened completely.
The one to walk out of the gate was a white-haired mischievous looking woman.
It was former Lord Sheritt.
– I told auntie Mila as well!
Eruhaben did not have the time to look at Sheritt or Mila.
Cale Henituse wanted to take care of everything at once.
All things started right away when this bastard appeared.
Sheritt.
Eruhaben.
Mila.
The three of them seizing control of a domain.
In that case, who was in charge of creating that domain?
“Ahem. Ahem. Can everybody hear me?”
Cale’s voice echoed throughout the wide plain.
It was thanks to Raon’s magic.
Cale came out to the terrace and pulled something out.
“Do you know what this is?”
This was the first time Eruhaben clearly saw the anger in Neo's face.
His always calm face clearly showed hostility toward someone for the first time.
‘As expected of Cale Henituse.’
As a satisfied smile appeared on Eruhaben’s face…
“Alright, let’s break the seal.”
Cale laughed and dropped the crystal-like jewel.
Eruhaben then saw it.
Neo disappeared from in front of him.
It was his attribute, time.
However, Eruhaben was not worried.
“I can see it!”
A black shield appeared in front of Cale.
Baaaaaang!
It stopped Neo.
Furthermore-
Flap, flap.
A Black Bone Dragon came down from the sky and landed its large body on top of the castle.
Cale, who was now standing in the shadow of the Dragon half-blood's large body, smiled.
Clang!
The jewel was completely destroyed.
No, the reference point was broken.
Boom-
A large rumbling shook the area at that moment.
The entire world was shaking.
The cataclysmic period.
The aura of the world was roaring as it had done at that time.
The time before the cataclysmic period…
The countdown to return everything to normal had started.
