Chapter 1166 — Book 2: Chapter 363: Strongest Under the Heavens (1)
15 min read ·
Before heading off to the northern Lan Kingdom known for their training…
Cale returned to the center of the Seventh Evil, Neo’s old castle, to greet the Heavenly Demon.
Clack.
Recovery rate 69%.
That was Eden Miru’s current condition.
“…….”
“Would you like to hold it?”
Cale pushed the wrapped egg forward, making the person flinch.
The person turned her head.
“Human, then I’ll hold him!”
Raon quickly flew over and swiped the egg away.
Hong rushed behind him and On sighed before nodding her head, as if to tell Cale not to worry, and walked in the direction Hong and Raon disappeared in.
“…….”
The woman, Pope Casillia, watched the disappearing Raon and the egg in his arms for a while before chuckling once she made eye contact with Cale.
“This is quite odd.”
Cale didn't ask the meaning behind her words.
He asked a different question instead.
“How does it feel to have become an NPC?”
Third bishop Hons, who was next to Casillia, flinched.
He was a mid-level NPC and could go back and forth between Aipotu and New World, but Casillia was an NPC whose life was connected to New World.
“It’s not bad.”
Thankfully, the look on Casillia's face was not bad.
She looked down at her hand.
“My body's destruction has stopped.”
Dragon scales were still on the back of her hands.
“The pain in my body has decreased from 100 to 1 as well.”
She shrugged her shoulders.
“The status window doesn't show me my remaining lifespan. And now that I am in a situation like this, I am unable to tell my remaining lifespan either. However-”
‘However?’
Cale looked into her eyes.
Casillia looked refreshed.
“It at least looks like I've gotten some time to freely live as me, as us.”
A faint smile formed on Hons’ face at that moment.
A small amount of joy was visible through the pitying gaze he had while looking at Casillia.
Not as the Pope, not as a Dragon half-blood.
Casillia.
Time to live as Casillia herself.
“But now, I would like to discuss work.”
It became easy for Cale to talk about it since she brought it up first.
“Please go to Breeze.”
“Breeze? The Western Empire? One of the three strongs?”
"That is correct. I would like you to go to its capital, Anne.”
“What do you need me to do?”
The Pope flinched as she asked.
The smile on Cale’s face was an extremely happy one.
“Pope-nim.”
“Please call me Casillia now.”
She had passed the position of Pope to the First Bishop.
“Yes, Miss Casillia. You are now one of the guardians of the Kingdom of Darkness.”
“…Darkness?”
“Yes. It is the place fighting against the God of Chaos’ ‘Arm,’ the place protecting New World’s underworld from the shadows.”
‘Hooo.’
Casillia's eyes started to look interested.
But her pupils started shaking at what Cale said next.
“Just so you are aware, Arm is one of my factions as well.”
“……!”
Cale then explained to her what had happened so far.
“Ha, hahaha!”
Casillia ended up laughing out loud.
“You truly are an interesting person.”
“He seriously is.”
Both Casillia and Hons looked satisfied.
“Mr. Cale. Then my job is to increase the power of Darkness and fight against the God of Chaos’ group Arm?”
“Correct.”
“And I can do it however I want?”
“Yes. You have already heard about quests?”
“Yes. It is quite an entertaining system.”
“Yes it is. However you want.”
Cale gently opened up his arms.
He then continued.
“Do as you wish, Casillia-nim.”
"Because what you want is an even greater mess. Am I right?”
Casillia, who was escaping from the chains of the position of Pope and the pressure of the Dragon half-blood inside her body, truly had knowledge and wisdom befitting her years of experience.
"That is correct. Whether it is the Hunters, the gods, or the Demon World… I want all of them to have major headaches.”
Casillia felt satisfied hearing Cale say these things in such lighthearted fashion.
“I want to make it like that as well.”
“I'll work hard to help as well.”
The two Dragon half-bloods were very satisfied.
“I'll send you news every so often.
“Thank you. You can talk to the Dark Bear, and I will let you know about an inn, so you can get help from them regarding your life in the Western Empire.”
The inn where the subordinate of the Evil Spirit of the Sixth Evil works.
That place would help Casillia.
“That sounds great.”
Casillia got up and immediately headed for the Heinous Dark Bear.
Cale looked at the empty spot where Casillia and Hons had been sitting and then looked toward the shadow in the corner of the fluffy cotton candy-like reception room.
“What do you think?”
Someone appeared from the shadows.
“This is chaotic.”
The original final boss of the Third Evil but now second in command after Cale, Count Ruiphe.
He did not hide the chaos in his heart as he stood there with a stiff look on his face.
“…I was the real Count Ruiphe of the Demon World-”
“I'm not sure yet.”
[Third Evil, Ghost of Darkness, Ruiphe.]
They believed that he was not an NPC who originated from the game but someone who lost his memories due to some shadow scheme from the Demon World and was registered as an NPC.
“I'm sure we will get our answer once we meet Miss Aurora. That lady should remember Ruiphe's face.”
“Mm. That is why I am disappointed.”
Cale nodded his head.
The Arbitrators.
The group led by the one and only child of the former Demon King.
They were planning on visiting Aipotu to register and enter New World.
Although they finished registering as mid-level NPCs, apparently something suddenly happened in the Demon World and they were unable to login.
‘She said the Demon King suddenly started to show himself?’
Aurora and the Arbitrators could not move rashly because the Demon King suddenly started to show himself.
“Well, we just have to see her next time.”
Ruiphe calmly answered before speaking to Cale again.
“I am currently unable to contact One.”
One, the AI dispatched by the system maintaining RPOG.
“Is that so?”
“Yes sir. I will tell One to come find the boss as soon as I hear anything.”
“One.”
Cale was planning on letting One meet the AI she was looking for.
It was a quest he had as well as something he needed to do for the future.
But this looked like it needed to be pushed back a bit.
Ruiphe continued to speak.
“The Sixth Evil is keeping an eye on the Seventh Evil these days.”
“Is that so?”
“Yes sir. I think they have taken the bait. That Evil Spirit bastard seems anxious to figure out the truth behind what is happening in the Seventh Evil.”
Ruiphe's report continued.
"We are also strengthening our surveillance on the First Evil. You seem to be correct about the First Evil being our enemies, boss.”
"What about the other Evils?”
"They are still quiet, but… They should slowly start to react once they learn that the Sixth Evil and Seventh Evil are starting to move.”
“How wonderful.”
Ruiphe watched Cale’s relaxed demeanor before cautiously asking.
“I heard from the Dark Bear… Are you planning on unifying the Eight Evils to create the Kingdom of Darkness?”
His voice was shaking a bit.
The unification of the Eight Evils.
This was something he had never even imagined.
The Seventh Evil and the Third Evil were calm compared to the others. The Second Evil, Fifth Evil, Sixth Evil, etc… There were so many crazy bastards there but to unify them all?
“Yes. I will.”
However, the boss in front of him seemed like someone who could make that happen.
“Yes sir. I will do what I can to support you.”
Ruiphe planned on supporting him.
He knew that doing so would be the way to protect New World and this place.
“By the way, Ruiphe, you are still administering the tutorial, right?”
“Yes sir. I am constantly checking to see if any suspicious users are being registered.”
The tutorial's final boss, or really a taste of a boss…
Ruiphe was the only boss in this world who could participate in the tutorial.
“I had a fun time with your close friend, Miss Rosalyn.”
"She's easy to talk to, isn't she?”
“Yes sir. She was a user I could easily communicate with about all things.”
Ruiphe would be a big help to any of Cale's group who would become users.
“One day-”
Cale calmly answered.
“One day, the tutorial may play an important role.”
New World was a place where new users were still endlessly joining.
It was impossible to skip the tutorial in RPOG.
Basically, you had to finish the tutorial to play the real game.
And Ruiphe plays a very important role in that tutorial.
“Hoo hoo.”
Ruiphe laughed elegantly.
“Boss. As soon as you give the command, I will make sure that no new users are able to complete the tutorial.”
However, he did add one caveat.
“Of course, I do not know if the red hand will allow that to happen.”
The red hand.
It was one of the omnipotent powers of the game that got rid of any issues that broke a rule of the game.
“Ah. The red hand.”
Cale let out a chuckle.
“Don’t worry about that. I'm looking for a method right now.”
Cale and Ruiphe… The half Demonic race and the Demonic race members looked at each other.
“Haha-”
“Hoo hoo.”
The two laughed as if they were entertained.
They truly looked ‘evil’ like their disposition.

Top researcher Kim Sae Hyun bit his lip while looking at the monitor.
He clenched his pants because his fingertips were shaking.
‘Different dimensions?’
At first, he thought Vice President Lee Mi Jung had gone crazy.
‘Nice to meet you.’
However, the moment he met this woman named Rosalyn who introduced herself as a mage…
‘This is the Black Castle. We need to create a portal here that will allow us to access RPOG’s New World.’
After staying in the Black Castle for a few hours and seeing Aipotu with their own eyes…
“…This is driving me crazy.”
Kim Sae Hyun's world had changed.
His whole body was tingling.
Vice President Lee Mi Jung had already made him an offer.
‘What do you think about working with me to not only swallow Transparent but creating a corporation that will swallow entire dimensions?’
But this offer wasn't what was causing this tingling.
‘What do you think? Although it is for magic, as a fellow researcher, I feel like I understand how you feel.’
Rosalyn. The story that she told him…
‘Our enemies are trying to turn New World from a Virtual Reality world to the real world.’
Gulp.
Kim Sae Hyun clenched his eyes shut.
‘And they are trying to rule that world.’
This mysterious mage who used something called mana whispered to him.
"What kind of world do you dream of? What do you want to make?’
‘This is driving me crazy.’
‘Do you want to try to create the world that you want in the chaos that is to come?’
He opened his eyes.
‘New World. It is exactly as the name says, a new world.’
He jumped up from his seat.
“…You all have nothing to do, right?”
The team members looking at him…
The researchers left under Kim Sae Hyun's supervision were all ones who were against Transparent's current direction of running the game, all people who were basically shunned just like Kim Sae Hyun.
“We never have anything to do.”
Kim Sae Hyun walked toward the lab door after hearing one of his team members shrug their shoulders and answer.
Click.
He locked the door and looked around.
Even before all of this, he had been wary of surveillance or eavesdropping. That was how much he didn't trust the Transparent ©.
“Come to the meeting room. There is something for us to do.”
He did not plan on dragging the team members into his business.
It was still dangerous.
However, he made an offer to his team members to research something that had nothing to do with their job.
“The red hand. Let’s look into that a bit.”
“The red hand?”
“Yeah.”
“…It’s not official business, is it?”
“Yeah. It’s not official business. It is just a personal curiosity. Only those who want to do it need to do it. I will take full responsibility.”
The researchers, who had been helplessly passing each day, felt something after seeing the look on Kim Sae Hyun's face.
Kim Sae Hyun gave them a source of certainty.
"The Vice President is backing me.”
The eyes of the team members, who all knew they could be kicked out at any moment and only remained because of their affection for RPOG, all clouded over.
‘Please help us research the red hand and install a portal.’
Kim Sae Hyun started to move following Rosalyn's request.
His entire body felt as if it was boiling. It had been a while since he had felt like this.
He finally had something to do.
Kim Sae Hyun, the man who at one point was called the greatest Virtual Reality expert of Transparent ©, the man who at one point was called the best in the world in this area of expertise, decided what he was going to do.
“…A new world.”
A situation where Virtual Reality might turn into reality…
He found what he wanted to do.

King Fist Kang Seung Koo.
The user more often called King Fist felt his heart beating.
[You are the first to discover a main quest.]
[Main quest: Chaos and Darkness]
The new main quest that was burning up the Breeze-Anne community board and making many users come over to Breeze right now…
King Fist, the first and only person to get the quest, was currently stopped.
[You have found a clue about the Kingdom of Darkness.]
[Will you approach the true nature of Darkness?]
‘I need to approach the true nature of Darkness!
But he disappeared!’
The wandering tamer… That handsome NPC had disappeared.
‘I'm certain that the NPC is a core figure!’
He was certain that the tamer held a high-ranking position in the Kingdom of Darkness.
That was why he searched for the tamer all over the capital but King Fist had not gained anything.
He-
Boom. Boom.
His heart was beating wildly.
As King Fist Kang Seung Koo could not leave the area around the inn where the tamer had stayed and was looking for clues regarding the quest…
A person appeared in front of him.
‘No.’
Was this really a person?
Swoooooooosh-
A breeze blew by.
In an alley as the sun set…
This figure suddenly appeared in front of King Fist as he weakly walked past an alley without many people.
"W, who are you?”
King Fist’s voice was shaking.
It could not be helped.
‘Scales!’
Scales visible on the hands, neck, and face…
And long vertical pupils…
The extremely beautiful appearance…
This woman was clearly not human.
Step, step.
The woman walked up to King Fist and started to speak.
"Are you King Fist?”
“Y, yes……!”
Smile.
The woman smiled.
Suddenly-
King Fist looked at her and…
‘…A Dragon……!’
She made him think of Dragons.
“!”
He then got shocked. A man was suddenly standing behind him as well.
It was a large man.
His pupils were long and vertical as well.
"Who are you……?!”
King Fist asked once more.
He knew this was a game, but this unexplainable pressure made him only have enough courage to ask that question.
“I-”
The woman thought for a moment before answering.
“I have come to you after receiving orders from my liege.”
‘Liege?’
As he was about to wonder…
“I'm a guardian.”
King Fist saw the quest window at that moment.
[‘Find the true nature of Darkness!’ You have found a clue.]
‘Wow.
This is crazy.’
King Fist finally saw an answer.
‘That tamer……!’
This extraordinary figure in front of him right now said that she was here under her liege’s orders.
And this man called himself a guardian.
‘That tamer……!’
Who from the Kingdom of Darkness knew about King Fist right now?
There was only one person.
He had thought it was possible, but…
‘That tamer is… the king!
Holy shit!
How thrilling!
Wow.’
King Fist got chills thinking about this major quest that had come to him.
King Fist started to speak with a solemn look on his face. His voice was shaking but his determination was huge.
“Yes ma’am. I am King Fist.”
The woman who was looking at him, Casillia, recalled some information Cale had given her.
‘There is a user I gave a quest to. His name is King Fist Kang Seung Koo. It should be easy to practice giving quests to him.”
Casillia looked at King Fist and opened her mouth.
“King Fist. Are you willing to help us?”
Casillia calmly continued to speak as King Fist gulped.
“We will soon reveal ourselves.”
"When you say we-?”
“…….”
Casillia contemplated for a moment.
She then made up her mind.
The reasons that made her decide to come to this world…
The lives of her allies and all of their futures… And the existence of the complete Dragon half-blood named Eden Miru who will soon hatch…
“You do not have the qualifications to know yet.”
Honestly speaking, they had not decided on everything yet.
“However, we will soon reveal ourselves.”
This was the start of the Miru Knights Brigade, the group that would shake New World's criminal world, the underworld, and actually all of New World.

"This place is similar to the Central Plains.”
The Heavenly Demon, who was walking leisurely with his hands behind his back, smiled as he spoke to Cale.
"Where did you say we have to go?”
"The Lan Palace.”
The palace.
Cale was relaxed as he talked about the central point of a kingdom.
The Heavenly Demon leisurely asked.
"Who do we need to meet?”
“The Queen.”
“I see.”
The Heavenly Demon calmly asked again.
"Are we killing someone?”
“…….”
Cale remained silent.
‘As expected, this guy is not normal either.’
Cale looked at the beautiful but dangerous mountain range that reminded him of the Martial Arts world as he nonchalantly commented.
“The queen's husband.”
The Lan Kingdom’s Queen Tamahi.
Cale had seen her husband in Bishop Serisa's memories.
Of course, Cale quickly added on.
“We are not killing him. Just having a little chat.”
“Haha-”
The Heavenly Demon laughed.
He no longer looked bored.
“Entertaining things always happen when I am with you. To kill a Queen’s husband-”
‘No, I said we are not going to kill him.’
Cale scowled.
Cale's group entered the land famous for their martial arts and training, the Lan Kingdom.
