Copyright & DMCA

DavarScans respects creators’ rights. Report material you believe infringes copyright using the copyright notice form. This routes the notice to our administrators.

Submitting a takedown notice

Include your physical or electronic signature; the copyrighted work or a representative list of works; exact URLs identifying the material; and contact details sufficient to reach you, including your name, address, telephone number, and email.

Include a statement that you believe in good faith the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its representative, or law. Also state that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the relevant exclusive right.

Review and response

Administrators review notices, may request missing information, and may remove or disable the identified material. Relevant contributors may be notified. Repeated substantiated infringement may lead to restrictions.

Counter-notices

If your material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, provide your signature; the material and its former location; a statement under penalty of perjury explaining your good-faith belief that removal was mistaken; and your name, address, and telephone number. Include consent to the appropriate U.S. federal district court’s jurisdiction and acceptance of service from the notifying rights holder or representative, as required by the applicable process.

We will assess a complete counter-notice under applicable law. Submitting one does not guarantee restoration, particularly if a court proceeding is reported.

Process information

The U.S. Copyright Office’s Section 512 guidance explains notices and counter-notices. Do not submit knowingly false claims. The form is a support channel; it does not represent that a designated DMCA agent has been registered.
